Meet Legacy’s Linnea! Your questions answered!

Hello regular Legacy.com channel watchers! Obituary writer and narrator Linnea Crowther appears on camera to answer your questions about the behind-the-scenes processes of producing Legacy.com’s weekly obituary news videos for KZread. She is joined by chief editor Stephen Segal and video producer John Maxwell as they discuss obituaries, anniversaries, half-staff flag tributes, and why there isn’t always a cause of death listed in our video obits.
Thank you to everyone who submitted questions. Let us know in the comments if you would like to see more behind-the-scenes videos in the future.

There are quite a few KZreadrs who report on the deaths of prominent people, but I have only watched your channel for quite some time for a number of reasons; Linnea's comforting voice, the respectful narrative you put together and the fact that you don't report on rumors are some of those reasons. I am baffled that you do not have a million or more subscribers! Thank you for all you do.

@@lenaaustin6692 We all have accents-some people don’t hear them unless they’re thick enough to be challenging to understand, and many, many people just aren’t tuned in to them because it’s no big deal to them, and some-such as myself-try to figure it out for myself. When I lived in WDC, I got really, really good with southern accents and could tell the differences between Alabama and North Carolina, for instance…but I moved back to California whence I came and they returned to being a southern blur. I think my interest in accents is part of the musical life I’ve led.
