Extreme Dragonblight prevents you from being healed in any way. Furthermore, if you do take healing items they will instead damage you in an equivalent amount. Max Potions and Ancient Potions are one hit kills.

I actually wouldn't mind a new and reworked Plestioth to show up in the main series again. he can even keep his Hyperspace Hipcheck as long as they take his tail slap away. The Hipcheck is atleast somewhat funny. But the tail slap is just annoying.

Also Rakna Kadaki essentially weaves and wears her own armour, seeing that her armour set is basically webs too.

How Plesioth eats is actually explained right in its animation for the water beam. It opens its mouth so wide that it can fit food in it even with the tusks. It's believed that's how Smilodon and other saber-toothed animals were able to bite and use their tusks.

If you complain about his mouth being "upgraded" then imagine a world where Plesioth never missed leg day and got THUNDER THIGHS OF THE GODS! A world where every hipcheck summons lightning storms with 100% accuracy to auto proc Guts and have at least 10 extra follow-up strikes. This would obviously occur because reality itself would shatter as he stomps across the battlefield.

While it's not Extreme Dragonblight it also worth mentioning Stygian Zinogre has its own unique form Dragonblight using its Dracophage bugs called Dracophage Erosion. Its Dracophage bugs latch unto your character. It seals your weapon's element, decreases your Health over time, it even decreases your weapon's sharpness over time and it even takes your items in your pouch. The Dracophage bugs in a sense are eating you, your weapon and your items in a way.

As somebody who actually likes Plesioth (not even joking about that), I find zenith Plesioth to be really cool and funny. I also am very interested in what a modern plesioth could bring.

This Zenith plesioth is borderline funny and quirky but also borderline cool at the same time, it feels like an enigma that will only be broken once I face my first plesioth

This looks like the most infuriating fight ever. Every other attack has the capacity to lock you in place, your stamina is shot at all times, it's against plesioth which makes everything worst by default. I would not do this fight.

I do think you're onto something with the 'monsters wearing their monster armor' thing, tbh. The justification could be that they're tamed monsters like monsties and the armor was placed on them by their handlers (though I guess that does need a darker and edgier story for a monhun game if we're having humans wield monsters as weapons)

They are not at Z 4 stars difficulty yet, all Zenith monsters get extra moves each stars. No one shot hipcheck but he does get double hipcheck lol.

Give what extreme fire and water illicit does, I wouldn’t be surprised if extreme thunder blight either makes you get stun by every attack that hits you, makes it so that when ever you get stunned you get pulled into the monsters attacks, or it give you hyper armor while you are stunned so you can’t get hit out of it but you still take all of the damage from the attack

Thunder blight is pretty funny, after getting it, the next thunder attack hits will get you into cardiac arrest and lose hp rapidly. Somebody needs to hit you to get out of that state. As for the stun, it is more of a extreme paralysis thing, but it is random stagger and not too bad tbh.

Don't worry. In higher levels, Plesioth has a double hipcheck death combo that more than makes up for it

I have in fact seen an artwork of a Kulu Ya-Ku wearing the Kulu armor set -- and it actually looked super nice! (Also, I actually work in grocery retail making it basically impossible for me to NOT immediately recognize which brand the three "Prime Stocks" are)

I knew what they were fighting because of the video title/title card. However, if I hadn’t paid attention to those, I would’ve known it was Plesioth as soon as they entered the cave. At that point if I were Cotton, I’d have said “Nope.” and abandoned the quest. Or at least go back to the tent until Josh offered a good enough bribe to fight His Royal Hip-ness.

This is the level of water control water monsters needed so badly 😢 but we got the lame mud fish we need more of this in future games

Ok so Zenith Rathlos was just constantly on fire 🔥 twenty four seven while spamming the backflips and fire attacks! That will constantly burn and destroy your health and stamina! While Zenith Plesioth is literally my head and teeth are now super hard to break! Also I have very dangerous mucus attacks that just drain your health away, so what the hell is Zenith Khezu going to be like as I have never played frontier nor watched the old Zenith videos just to keep myself away from spoilers!!?

I feel like the mouth...grill...does not prevent it from eating, as it most likely eats small fish, and it would just suck them in. The tusks, are most likely for combat.

to defend plesioth's teeth tusks. he probably doesn't have to worry about eating as much as josh thinks. as he can probably eat some fish in one bite or less. i was wondering that for a few minutes untill i realized his prey doesn't have to be too big.

We already have monsters wearing other monsters though. Nerscylla and Radobaan wear monster parts.

The blue scales on Zenith Plesioth actually do look really nice. I even like the blue spikes on top of his head somewhat. But the big jaw spikes look just stupid. Also with the liquid being yellow it looks more like piss to me than acid mucus.^^

The mucus mechanic is as if the frontier developers saw the hagfish and said "Give that to plesioth!"

dont wanna be that guy, but having the liquid be a yellowish green was in my opinion not a good move
