Georgie's pup is separated from her already. In the wild, baby seals are on their own as soon as they're weaned - typically just a few weeks after birth.

How’s the baby seal doing?

If we have an animal whose birthdate we don't know, we automatically set it to January 1 of the year they were born, or as close to the year as we can guess.
