Love me some Philadelphia butter cake!!!!
Would love to have the recipe!!! When I was growing up in Fishtown we had a little German bakery run by this senior couple and every Sat and Sun morning we had not only a Butter cake but a German Cheesecake!!!! Now I'm an senior and would love to have the Fishtown recipe!!!
Looks good. Ima check it out next time I'm downtown.
Now just imagine if you would have been doing stuff on KZread this whole time, Inquirer.
What she made is butter cake, but true Philadelphians will know that this is not the original German butter cake we grew up on.
