    Fun fact harvard medical school(worlds best medical college) has 2 percent acceptance rate. Aiims, delhi(best medical college in india) has acceptance rate= 0.0033 percent. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

  • @soumyajeetmazumdar

    @soumyajeetmazumdar

    3 жыл бұрын

    This is not entirely accurate. If Harvard med school has an acceptance of 2%, that means 2% of its applicants is chosen for admission but not the entire medical aspirant base. But in case of AIIMS delhi, the entire student base who appear for the examination is assumed to be an applicant for the medical college. Since there is no manual application, there is no actual way to determine the acceptance rate in this case.

  • @arhamgoyal5981

    @arhamgoyal5981

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@soumyajeetmazumdar but still if we see the 15 lac aspirants are competing for aiims delhi, after all its the best so i think using acceptance rate is correct for aiims, even if 2 percent is for all of its courses at max what 100 courses are there then also the acceptance rate is 0.02 percent. Meaning 10 times easier than aiims and talking about fees its nearly 6000 times the fees of aiims.

    No hate Harnoor, but can you interview someone who is like into a GOOD medical school (Carribean medical schools are worthless in the US, I've met people who dropped out and took a gap year and started prepping for MCAT again instead of doing MD from Carribean lol. MD > DO >> Carribean MD) or into a good residency programme (IM is like in the lowest 10 residency programmes, no hate intended) or maybe interview someone who did MBBS from a respected medical college in India and then went onto match in a good residency program in the US (Plastics, Derm, Ortho, Radio, Neuro).

The time period of that depends on your speciality right? So let's say 3 years, after you finish the 3 year residency programmes, do you get to work in the US?

    So there are 3 steps all together for USMLE. After which you have to go under a match process for residency. once you complete your residency you can practice in the USA. If you want to come back to India you have to complete a residency in India as well. If you could manage to get in to to notch hospital you might get a by there
