Ro, a lot of people will tell you, what to do and whats right and whats wrong, but after a few weeks you will figure out that is right for Cookie, it might be different then what the Vet said or what you read online, But Cookie will tell you in her own way, what she really needs, and you'll figure it out as you go along, there ones thing dogs and people are the same way in, each one is different, not all Frenchies are the same. Just like any puppy or child, its how you raise will tell how they are as adults, with love and care, and even a few mistakes I believe she will be a wonderful dog.

Hey Ro. My name is Gabby. My aunt got a French bulldog too. His name is Murray and he is black and white. I just wanted to tell you that the tiny pink harness you got for cookie will most likely break. If your on a walk with her she might pull and break it because French Bulldogs are powerful. I would recommend a harness for the brand Bark Apparel. When it comes to dog items they are my family's go to brand. We've gotten my dog Penny (A Morkie) many things from there. aww ro is so nice , she gets everything her dog needs and even takes extra consideration whether the shampoo is safe , whether the toys are not too hard and she only got the dog when she felt ready to take care of it , she is just very responsible and caring , I think she'll make a good owner ! :))

Da Boba_girl I’m sure she’s already seen it 4 months ago. She’s had enough time to heal. Sure I’m sad that my dog died and I couldn’t bare looking at pictures and videos of her. Now I have a new puppy Luna and she’s a sweet heart she’s my coconut. I can look at my dead dogs pictures and videos now because it brings back good memories. I loved her very much she was my first dog and I will remember her always I know she’s had a good and happy life and is in a better one.

Congratulations! I like that food scooper/bag clip. You can stick to Natural Choice if you want to because it's one of the healthier and better quality brands of dog food. I'm surprised you were told to bathe her once a week b/c it was always to my knowledge that frequent baths dry out a dog's skin despite softer shampoos. I give mine baths once a month. You're very prepared and you adopted her the right way (including the adoption itself instead of supporting a puppy mill). Thanks for being the good puppy mommy that you already are! Can't wait to see more of Cookie :) Have fun with her!

It's the breed of the dog :) her dog is prone to skin problems when not bathed about once a week to every two weeks because of all the fd in the skin. U want to keep the dirt and oil build up off. Most breeds it's every 4-6 weeks for baths tho :)

Hey Ro, first of all, Cookie is really really cute. I love her little face :) But you know, you don't need a toothbrush and toothpaste for your dog. And a dog shouldn't be "overwashed", if he doesn't have really long fur. Dogs should be washed approx. 2 - 4 times in a year maximum. I just wanted to share my opinion with you. be careful you don't "overcare" your lil cute puppy. Have much fun with her!

Yeah, dogs don't need their teeth brushed. However once you start supposedly it is bad to stop continuing, it either has to be constant or nothing, not in between :)

I do understand your concern about people "overcaring" their puppies and dogs, however showering your dog once a month is completely fine no matter what breed it is. The "only 2-4 times a year tops" statement is a little TOO much! It's so individual from dog to dog, some never need showers while some needs them every week so the best thing is to speak to your veterinary for advice. :)

that bathing thing is a little far-fetched, because i bathe my dog around 1-2 times a month. it just depends on the breed and the type of fur. also, my pup likes to get dirty outside a lot, so it just wouldnt be reasonable to only bathe her twicea year :)

This I sooo sad 😔 she just passed and it’s really hard watching this!! Cookie and Ro were so attached it is just breaking my heart watching this after the announcement that she passed!!! RIP Cookie you will always be remembered and loved!!

I think the lavender scent on the little poop bags if so that the poop doesn't smell as bad.

All my prayers go out to you because of such hard times. I lost my cat back in October of 2017 and I miss her so much. I know how hard it is. I sucks and I wished that I could’ve done something to prevent it but I know that my cat was suffering. I know that now she is in a better place now with all the other pets who went to heaven, especially yours.

That's a good idea if they are still getting their shots and can't go out. Personally I don't like the pads I think it teaches them it's ok to go in the house. But if that is the only option I would use them.

SO CUTE! You should transition her to Blue Buffalo Wilderness. If you're vet suggests anything else don't listen. A lot of vets aren't properly educated in nutrition and are basically forced to recommend brands like Science Diet. Acceptable brands are Blue Buffalo, Nature's Variety, Canidae, or Merrick. Real meat(not byproduct), grain free, and high protein is the way to go. Also, who in the hell recommend you wash your dog once a week??? That's terrible for her skin! Dogs only need washing once every 3 to 4 months. DO NOT OVERWASH! You should also try getting more variety of toys. Get some interactive toys, get some puzzle toys. This will help a lot when you leave the dog alone and will also prevent a bunch of behavioral problems. Dogs don't just need physical exercise, they also need mental exercise. Without interactive toys, they could start destroying furniture or barking non stop. Not saying that these problems will develop without interactive toys, but they're less likely to develop with interactive toys. Good job getting a collar with tags. Every dog needs to have tags. I don't care if they're microchipped or not, they need tags. If you're dog gets lost and doesn't have tags, it'll take a lot longer for her to come back home. Good luck with her! Start training and stay consistent!

minion lover Pooping is healthy though. It's not pretty but it's how their bodies are supposed to work. If it causes diarrhea though, Blue Buffalo does have some limited ingredient diets I think. Also, if the grain free causes diarrhea Blue Buffalo has foods that contain grains. I like the brand because they use real ingredients. I wouldn't be scared to eat it myself like I would be with other brands. Also there are supplements out there to help with digestion and stool deodorizing. So, there's really no excuse to feed you furry babies lower quality food.

My vet called blue buffalo "designer food" that has no scientific backing to say it's better or worse than anything on the market. Do not accept the advice "do not listen to your vet". The vet has spent the greater part of 16+ years going to school and getting a higher education to understand pet health and pet nutrition. If you question transitioning Cookie to another food please discuss with your vet what your desires are for,her health and come up with a plan for what to feed her.

i remember watching this a couple of years ago when i was younger. this was one of my fav videos from ro! rip cookie, you were a cutie to be missed.

One of my dogs, Scout, is a tiny mutt thing and we don't know her breed xD, shes the puppy of my other dog Sophie who gave birth to 5 puppies, Scout, Tiny, Smudge, Boston, and Alex. (The others were given away to people we knew) Shes has shaggy and weird hair and looks like a weiner dog, and she always wants love and tries to sit like a human or wants to be held like a baby and getting a belly rub xD
