Great idea for those courses that become basically unplayable in the summer due to losing too many discs!

Definitely! Good suggestion. I usually just avoid those courses until fall 😂.

I bought two of these to use in the sage brush deserts of the western US. I was excited because finding discs in these dense little bushes is super hard. Unfortunately, they barely worked, if they worked at all. They also drastically altered the flight characteristics of the two drivers I attached them to, making them both considerably more understable. I would be fine with this if the stupid things would chirp, but I would often have my phone searching for the tracker even standing on top of it.

I had a problem initially with the first one I got. I put a fresh Duracell battery in it and that seem to fix the issue. It’s been working for 8 months know no problems.

@@PartTimeDiscGolf I'm glad its working for you. I used fresh energizers and it would pair inside the house, but out in the field it was nearly useless for whatever reason.

I feel like you could just buy 5 more disc for the same price.. but still pretty neat.

It costs more than most of my discs. Also, I read that it can fall off the disc.

It is reusable, so keep that in mind. I did have mine come off, but that was user error. They recommend in the instructions to let the glue sit for 48 hrs before using. I didn’t follow that rule the first time. Second time I did and I had no problems with it staying on.

20 bucks sounds pretty expensive. Compared to leds which cost something like 3 euros. Other than that, I could use those on several courses...Alas, it's cheaper to just buy a new disc!

This feels like someone just wants to get money from their referral link. If you get money from people buying product from your "review" it's not a review, It's a paid advertisement.

@@PartTimeDiscGolf I don't disagree with that part. Just disagree with people who give praise to something when they make money if people buy it. Not ethical at all to me. Maybe it's ethical by your standards.

Ooof it only has 30 feet for range? Great idea for a product but BLE ain't gonna cut the mustard. If you have to get that close to your disc to have it even get picked up by your phone, then you already know where it is! I'd love an app that would give me an overlay like augmented reality. I don't need help located the area I shanked my disc into, I need help finding out which bush it's living in! =D

I hear you. It didn’t really help me in a dense wooden area where it was hard to move through and instead of trying to squeeze through all the areas and get poked I was able to locate it with the sound. Then it was less messing around and just go get it.
