What's more impressive is the fact he can make decent rap records....he was a street battle rapper back in the day, those battle rappers don't seem to do well once they get signed...jin being an example (maybe a bad example coz no way is a Chinese kid gonna make it in American rap, his albums were trash but he made his millions in hk after) but someone dope like murda mook is an example, I ain't ever seen a murda mook record lol

I always commend dudes who can battle rap. It takes a different level of focus truly. Gotta keep your opponent out of your head and focus on where you goin with ya flow next. Gotta block the crowd out and allat. True skill. Almost anyone can do it with enough practice and attention to detail but almost no one will be willing to face the potential embarrassment. Gotta have heart.

This so how I remember Meek! Him and his boys would be on the sub, one making a syck beat on the seat and then someone amongst his crew would ask him to freestyle something. And those bars were ALWAYS insane. One day he asked me do I braid hair, I planned to do it! But, then not long after, I stopped seeing him on the trains. I soon saw him TV, and I didn't recognize him! I was like this is NOT "Syck lyric Meek"! I know it's corny, but that's what I use to call em. I used find myself looking for him...Until...

@Mohammed Ibrahim Why you hating. Lol. It's still funny cause he said he don't run out and did exactly that in the moment. Part of the art that sets the greats apart is being true to yourself. So it's not meant to get at him and his career as a whole, but in that moment he played himself..
