Leaves on a stream meditation for anxiety and intrusive thoughts.
This audio will guide you through a guided meditation to help you defuse and detach from your intrusive thoughts.
Through this activity, you can become an observer of your thoughts and see them as what they are thoughts rather than facts. It will teach you to notice and let go of thoughts without getting too attached.
by practicing this daily you can reduce your anxiety and fear to the intrusive thoughts as they come up.

This is fabulous!! So helpful for practicing non engagement for OCD!

To anyone who sees this I'm more of just letting out what's been going on. I not only have anxiety but I have hypochondria and it feels like i have nobody, even my girlfriend hasn't been acting the same way as she used to and I don't even feel like she wants to help. And because of my hypochondria basically anything will make me sick whether that's feeling pressured by someone or even just eating. If someone is somehow going through as much as me I honestly feel for you and I hope it gets better.

I was appreciating this meditation and was going to recommend it but as someone else mentioned the ad in the middle of the meditation is very disturbing and intrusive for my meditation practice.
I'm glad it's working for so many people, but it just makes me sadder. The thought of letting wonderful thoughts go pains me because frankly, I don't know if I have any wonderful thoughts. I'm going to keep trying to tame my anxiety and misery, but it's rough.

I only recently found out I have ADD (I'm 47) and everything makes sense now. I box to exercise, and that really helps, but I also self medicate with weed. I'm thinking about getting prescribed meds but I'm pretty small and I worry about my weight, can someone give me advice?
