Hare krsna dear radheshyam prabhu! Please accept my humble obeisances My question- When l hear lectures or read SP books, i understand them to some degree but next day l tend to forget what i read or heared. So what can l do to always remember what was said in the lectures or book? I wish that whenever l turn to a lecture l heared a month or week ago, l remember what was the sub ject matter and core principals. What things can be done to attain this Hare krsna Darsnae pavitra koro ei tomara guna Al glories to the great devotees of the lord.

@harshraj - Whenever you hear any lecture, just make a brief notes as follows : CONCEPT 1 and EXAMPLE 1 CONCEPT 2 and EXAMPLE 2 CONCEPT 3 and EXAMPLE 3 After class, do MANANAM (recollecting points by remembering EXAMPLE first and THEN CONCEPTS). After that do NIDHIDHYASANA which is to CONTEMPLATE AND DEVELOP CONVICTION by seeing how this knowledge APPLIES TO YOUR PERSONAL LIFE AND PUT IT IN PRACTICE. HK Prabhuji, Pamho... Just a thought. Many a times, mediocre grihasthas attract more devotees compared to missionary grihasthas as they are more relatable to their lifestyles.

But after attracting, if those mediocre grihastas and the newly attracted married couples are both just smoothly going on with their materialistic lifestyle, what is the use of their human birth? just because 99% of world population will agree with materialistic lifestyle, we don't have to be one. We should take Krishna's side, as Arjuna did, unlike Duryodhana. HK ys Radheshyam das

Hare Krishna prabhu ji, after passing from voice. I have seen most of ns devotees swaying away from bhakti. After passing out, in devoid of association many have turned back to their pre voice lifestyle. I also observed that outside congregation devotees are more fired up than voice passout grahasthas.

@user - Every jiva is individual and we cannot make general statements like that. There are serious sadhus, serious grihastas, weak sadhus, weak grihastas and there are others who are a mixture also. Therefore we can only speak about any devotee, provided we are able to offer help or positive direction to their spiritual life; otherwise it will be dosh katha. HK Ys Radheshyam das
