    I like that cross! I've seen many Oakeshott Type 2 crosses with round or hexagonal cross-sections, but this one appears to have a chamfered rectangular (square?) cross-section, and I think it looks great with that blade and hilt!

    Yes, the cross-section is square and has decorative chamfers at the corners, which is actually an octagon.
