Need help for medical PG counseling ?
Dear Medical students ,
Unfortunately NMC couldn't bring all Medical PG admission under one umbrella. There are a lot of confusions in medical PG counselling even medical students don't know the correct procedures.
IMP: Real awareness gives you the best quality medical PG seat with low cost. Getting medical PG is not a issue , but high quality clg + low cost is a real challenge and needs high level awareness about NEET counseling.
(1) There are separate counseling procedures / dates / notifications for Deemed universities , State counseling ( All states have separate procedures and deadlines , we all can apply ), Govt seats in other states , Management quots ,NRI quota ...etc
(2) NMC release first for deemed / AIQ seats. Each state releases separate individual counseling notifications . We are all eligible to participate in each counseling .
(3) I have helped several people to get their dream PG seat even though they got very high rank. Medical PG admission depends on your counseling participation skills ,not just NEET rank. A lot of good rankers couldn't get seats.
(4) A lot of medical PG participants couldn't get admission because of lack of awareness about AIQ , Other state counseling/ seats , how to lock options , how to participate in Mop up / stray vacancy/ spot rounds .
(5) Indian students also can convert to NRI at any point of counseling . Students who can pay money , they can get a seat under NRI quota in top medical colleges in india. Now all NRI / management /Institutional quota seats also should be filled through counseling only. No need to give brokerage charges of 10 to 20 lakhs extra. From 2022 onwards - All admissions through Counselling including NRI seats. U need proper guidance
(6) Medical consultancy services are cheating the students and parents in a large scale .Nobody can do anything from 2022 onwards . With your awareness, you can get a seat even if you get 1 lakh rank with reasonable money . The cost of PG specialities are completely different for different states ,Deemed ,aided etc.
Every year , hundreds of pvt/ deemed seats are vacant.
Conclusion: Hundreds of medical students couldn't get seats because of non awareness. Don't depend on anybody.
You should apply / participate to at least 5 to 6 states in addition to NMC , so that you can get a seat easily with a lower rank. You can convert your indian status to NRI even in a mop up round.
