The safeguards are there for a reason, and there is no country that has, or has had, the death penalty that hasn’t put innocent people to death. Until we can guarantee 💯 that trials, evidence gathering, and procedures cannot fail or be corrupted through bias and other means, the status quo needs to remain. We do not live in a black and white world with only yes/no options.

I could understand why. It's really harder when it's a child and not a grown adult.. I worked in a funeral home for several years as an assistant . It still bothers me to this day to see a child dead no matter how it happened. It's very sad 😢

Charles appointed Kay his sister his beneficiary. Lori not knowing this, had Charles killed. July 11 2019 .I think. I love how Lori said the deaths were an accident. And this chad couldn't have been a passive participant, I don't see lori building a fire by herself. They put a plastic bag over JJ's face and bound it with duct tape. That is not an accident but intentional. What hurts the most is that they could have just given the kids to others but that wasn't good enough for this crazy couple. If they hoped these kids weren't talking before they sure are now. Jesus is giving justice to JJ and Tylee.

The law has to be applied without emotion. This attorney could absolutely detest this man, but his job is to ensure that the law is applied fairly, without bias, and not broken in any way. If he’s done HIS job correctly, then no appeal will succeed as there will be no grounds to support it. If you compare this attorney to those defending Alex Murtaugh, where they came across as corrupt, arrogant, and power bloated attorneys banding together to protect their traditional little boys club, then you can see where he falls on the ladder. You don’t see him when he goes home and is behind closed doors, to see his true feelings regarding this case and how it’s affecting him. EDIT: I wasn’t aware at the time of writing my original response of the attorney’s prior actions and attempts to be recused. My original response stands though in respect to how ALL attorneys should conduct themselves when defending those that have (allegedly until found guilty) committed despicable acts.

It was all about money 💰. The kids had social security money coming in. That’s why Lori had her husband killed then found his money went to his sister. Chad killed his wife to get that money.

Chad just sits there writing on his notepad, completely disinterested.

He never looks at anything in trial but today he looks over i am assuming to look at the screen where they are showing the evidence they have. He does it everytime they show a new piece sick mf...Admiring his work i suppose. Smh .i wonder if they will ever tell how the kids really died Hope they didn't suffer...Rip Tylee and J.J 😢

I truly think they meant to cremate both kids and spread their ashes but they underestimated how messy a job it was, how energy consuming it was and how much fuel and time was needed to do it properly. I think they gave up and buried what was left of tylee and then they took a while to dig a hole for jj which is why he got to live a little longer.

Thank God for Kay & Larry bc, if it wasn't for them. No one would of been the wiser. I hope they find peace and healing 💔💗💔

It was. Later today forensic scientist identified Alex Cox’s fingerprint and partial palm print was found on the duct tape

There’s no way Alex Cox could have murdered JJ without Lori’s consent. Evil mother and Chad were aware and consented to it. Buried them in his yard. I imagine they murdered Alex as well to keep him from testifying. Made it seem from natural cause. Lori has murdered two husbands as well and got away with it, up until now.

Seems like they got Alex to do all their dirty work. In a way it’s fortunate Alex died. Otherwise he would have taken the fall for all 4 murders. the cause of death in his case is also a question mark. However, in all the months of investigations, it’s unlikely the prosecution failed to check it out.

She just wanted a shiny new model- her previous husband converted to her religion, financed a lavish lifestyle, let her live in Hawaii for quite a while, supported her hobbies and reportedly adored her. But he didn’t literally believe she was a goddess, so she wanted to move on. With his insurance money.

I see NO remorse on Chad's face. This is sickening what they did to this innocent little boy JJ. Chad and Lori are going straight to hell. They won't be leading anyone at end times. Pure Evil.

My heart goes out to all the family members that have to go through this case again and re-live this horror, also for the prosecution these pictures will be forever in their minds of what a monster these people were. It is just not humane what they did to these poor kids. What a narcissist Chud the spud is to put people through this and think he is going to get off. I just hope if he doesn't get death penalty that he goes into GP in prison. Rest in peace angels.

It sounds like JJ may have died similar to Tammy's death.

This is nightmare inducing testimony, just hearing it. It is a testament to the commitment for justice for the victims that everyone in the courtroom doesn't run from the room in shear horror at what they are hearing and seeing.

Are the Grandparents in the court room listening to this? I can't imagine. 😢

I'm so sorry JJ and Tylee !!! I'm that the system failed both of you horribly !!! If someone only listened to the husband who knew just what those two were up to !!!! If his suspicions were realized from the start, then this would have never had to happen, period

This is even worse then what Chris Watts did to his wife and little girls. Now…how can anyone listen to what was done to this little 7 year old conscientious, alive, alert J.J. Vallow by people he knew and trusted. If the death penalty is not on the table then they should get life in prison with no parole and plaster the cell walls with 11 by 14” photos of the autopsy…and that is all…..ever.
