Yes, I came from Arizona and we used to certify patients at the chiropractors office that I worked at. It is freaking ridiculous here in Utah. The things that you have to go through to get your card and then my card wasn’t even processed for two weeks because somebody just didn’t put it into the computer and nobody made sure to supervise that they did. It’s terrible I’m sick of Utah making money off of sick people.

First of all, the doctors/QPMs charge way too much for their consulting, in my case in excess of what I believe will be approximately $600 per year. In addition, the PRICES for medicine at the Pharmacies is much too high. The norm seems to be roughly $50-60 per 3.5 grams. This is very expensive for people that struggle with pain and expenses. Some of my friends have reverted back to Opioids and buying hard liquor/beers in order to save costs. Here is an example: A person can buy 2 liters of Vodka for $11 and roughly 6x 12 packs of beer for the same price as 3.5 grams of cannabis flower. Reverting back to the black market and bringing in cannabis from other places out of state also seems to become more prevalent. So may people tend to self medicate instead, causing undue physical harm and addiction issues, instead of treating their pain and medical problems properly, through the use of Cannabis products. Utah need to lead the way for the proper pricing structure for medical cannabis. Not doing so will go against its very purpose of medical legalization. That's my 5 cents. Thanks.

I'm happy you are getting it :). However they are making it WAY too difficult especially if you are already struggling financially. I really envy people in states where it's just recreationally legal.

I ended up going to my local library and using the computer and it was way easier than using my cell phone. I’m now just waiting for state review.

Any updates?

There isn’t an option under applicant type for yourself - it’s either blank or for a minor child. I’ve tried on my phone, iPad, and a laptop. It’s also difficult to reach a person at the department if you need help.

if you’re choosing -new patient- when you click on tracking inbox and already made an application before thats the issue. just click on patient 2 times and it will bring you to your patient application. i had the same problem n was strugglin. if you didn’t already make one then ion know

At first, I call to ask how do I get a medical car but the nurse or doctor told me you have to be a resident o citizen :( I also have a cannabis treatment I used to consume for health. But it is been hard to understand how to do it. I am going to talk with my doctor to see if it is possible in that way. Therefore, I will follow the instructions that the video says. Lets hope the best :)

The caregiver is if you can’t administer it to yourself, and your doc is the QMP (qualified medical provider). The doctor says that when you fill out your app, in a day or so it will automatically get sent to the referring doc, and then coordinate with the patient. A bit more complicated than it needs to be. If you really meant a caregiver, someone who will administer the marijuana, then just send them the link, and let them fill out the page, there’s a spot to say you’re filling it out for someone else. And if that’s the case then you fill out the caregiver part, otherwise you don’t.

This was a long process and I’m still stuck making my payment. I called them but they still haven’t returned my message I emailed them but the steps they told me isn’t giving me the page to submit payment.

Hey I was stuck at the same place with trying to make the $15 payment and after fiddling around with the settings on my phone I was able to figure it out and got the payment made. Are you trying to do it on an iPhone? If so let me know and I’ll tell you the settings to adjust on safari so you can make the payment.

If you’re trying to do this on your phone? I figured out you have to open it up in Safari browser, and all the windows will pop up after that.

I ain’t gonna lie but getting a a damn cannabis card in Utah seems like a long process when in cali it’s much more simple

This is a joke My wife's doctor is approved and tells my wife to keep self medicating. Because the doctor can only give out 10 cards. The doctor only gives cards to people with cancer, So we have to make the trip out of state!

What’s really messed up is my 16-year-old son, who was kidnapped, mentally, emotionally, and physically, abused, experiences extreme PTSD! He does not like pills, and he does not like benzo‘s, or any other type of antidepressant or downer and that’s all these doctors want to push on these teens! If a teenager wants to use CBD with a little bit of THC in it, they should be able to voice that right to a medical professional just like an adult does. There shouldn’t be any condemnation for it either. I know a little girl who used to suffer from 800 to 1000 seizures a day her mother took her out of state to get medical marijuana and it brought her seizures down to 10 a day now she doesn’t have seizures at all and she has made the Dean’s list and she graduated high school with honors. They tell us nothing but lies about marijuana to keep us from continuing to raise hell about why they won’t legalize it. I’m over it. This is supposed to be an amazing state full of amazing people, but all they do is make money off the sick lining their pockets. I can’t find one single medical professional, that we’ll see my 16-year-old son for a medical cannabis card. That is sad!

I have an Illinois medical card and am visiting for a couple months. I have been told I can get a 21 day card but I’m confused about the application process. Do I still have to visit a QMP?
