Piers Morgan is one of the biggest hypocrites. He is blaming everyone else yet he was bullying Princess Catherine after the Mother’s Day photo. He is a disgrace to the media. He understood that Princess Catherine would be recouping until Easter yet demanded she should appear in public after the photo. Now that she did appear, Piers should hang his head in shame. As an American I would like to offer an apology to Catherine, The Princess of Wales, Prince William, and the lovely British people for the disturbing and cruel attack and mockery by one of our tv journalist, Megyn Kelly. I, and the majority of her followers, are appalled, disgusted, and livid at her mockery of a seriously ill young Mother fraught with worry for her young children and desperately trying to protect them until such time she and her husband can navigate the impossible task of telling them of her illness in a safe way as not to frighten them. (Please forgive the longest run on sentence I have ever constructed for I am livid). Please rest assured her followers have flooded her comment section today with orders for her to issue an immediate, sincere, and lengthy apology. As she failed to do so today I and other subscribers, one by one, have unsubscribed. I likened it to a crazed rabid dog attacking a wounded bunny and cackling with glee at it's attack. She misrepresents every decent American who is holding Catherine up in prayer and sending healing thoughts and wishes for her return to robust health. Her rant brought shame on America, decent Americans, and myself. For this I deeply apologize to all, especially Catherine. True Americans sincerely want for the Wales family to be left alone to heal body, mind, and soul in complete privacy and peace. Thank you.

Watching all of this from South Africa, I find the disrespect and the way the Royal Family is treated as "fair game" in the UK and the Sociap Press horrifying. It’s pretty low to go after someone who’s just had surgery and is obviously recovering. I think the British public mostly supported her private recovery but they had to read everyday about how terrible she was. But nobody forced Kensington Palace to release a heavily doctored photo. If it was indeed Kate who made the changes, then they should’ve advised her against publishing it. They have a lot more experience than she does but they just left her twisting in the wind.

When we talk about Kensington Palace, it's important to realise that the staff there today are not the staff of previous decades. People come and go, some with more experience, some with much less and learning on the job. I place the blame on the media, especially AP and Getty Images, who were already aware that Catherine tinkers with editing, as seen in some previous photos, but decided to clutch their pearls and behave as if they were totally unaware before the Mother's Day photograph. All they needed to do was put an editor's note on it saying that it had been manipulated by the source AS THEY HAVE DONE FOR OTHER PHOTOS WITH LESS DRAMA and left it at that.

There’s evidence the image was altered substantially, including missing hair, missing sleeves and steps that don’t line up. The digital file shows adobe photoshop was used twice to edit it.
