The problem with market society and the ideology that each individual should think of themselves as an enterprise is that it leads to FAR too many taking the low road, which is becoming a mercenary, since this culture lacks meaning except for making profit.

Than goodness, an intelligent feminist. Neoliberal feminism has trashed the issue of class.

Kind of appreciate this, kind of wish women of color, trans people, and or gender non conforming people were brought up... But generally speaking, corporate neo liberal feminism is not gonna save us.

As a working class man can safely say the media obsession with neolib feminish sent me down a dark rabbit hole a few years ago.

When women weren't able to vote and after the depression with a lot of women in the workforce that aren't getting jack in pay. Also feminism in the Middle East and other backward regions of the world are significant.

@john smith " a lot of women in the workforce that aren't getting jack in pay" you're referring to non-western cultures that abhor capitalism. This video, and I assume the OP's comment, refer to primarily western society, where the opposite to what you claim is reality.

THIS CULTURE 'you're referring to non-western cultures that abhor capitalism.' Which cultures would they be? Almost the entire globe nowadays operates under one form or another of capitalism. 'This video, and I assume the OP's comment, refer to primarily western society, where the opposite to what you claim is reality.' Really? So there isn't this female-dominated pink-collar workforce in post-industrial parts of the UK whose members have to contend with struggling to simultaneously feed their children and heat their homes adequately, to say nothing of rampant job insecurity? Bullshit!
