Great knife for chopping firewood!

They are beasts and I used to want one but that has changed! They don’t slice very well so I’m not so eager to get one anymore. The jimping is way to large and aggressive! It’s a trip how our taste changes. Thanks Jerad for sharing bro! I’ll ttyl ✌🏼

I like it also, its just not the most functional, and not the knife id grab to cut with or work with

Great review as always, Neeves! Though this Medford is certainly an interesting design, have you considered the Artisan Cutlery Proponent as a viable alternative, for appproximately 1/10th the cost? Similar dimensions with a very robust D2 blade. Plus, it includes a steel locking pin that turns it into a virtual fixed blade.

Honestly light weight stuff like tape exc, they are for very light stuff and very hard use abusive stuff not much in between, atleast for these models

I was busy for a week or so and you got over 10k subs in the time! Holy crap! How’d that happen? Congrats buddy… Been on a Medford kick after snaggin my firat

I figured it out y I prefer a smaller blade ur from Chicago were it’s cold 🥶 so pants 👖 I’m from California it’s hot we were a lot of shorts so u feel a bigger knife finally got a penguin 🐧 and thay wait is right about there were anything heavier would be an issue but come winter I’ll go up a blade size for edc

Very true, when I where certain shorts i also carry a lighter smaller knife depending on what im doing, when i wear basketball shorts or jogging pants i usually clip to the wait band so size isnt a big issue but depending on what im doing depends on my knife size. But wearing jeens il carry a full size knife usually but not always sometimes il go for a medium sized

They have some other great models, and if you get the right finishes on them they wont show wear, and you can get away with using them

Who would use a $700 knife as a pry tool? But how can you use it like a pry tool when it is so uncomfortable to hold that it is trying to pry out of your hands? Looks cool though.

It's main purpose is being awesome.

Definitely made for shock factor or hammer maybe both.

That knife is a tank!

I would never even consider buying a Medford simply due to the fact that Greg is one of the biggest tools in the industry. (To put it nicely)

Medfords look cool but don't seem very practical. They're priceyer than I feel comfortable with. If I don't carry & cut with the knife I feel disappointed in it. No knife left behind.

Theres many great models that are amazing edc knives but some like this one just arent practical, especially when you have another option, when i think of making some cuts, id always grab something else

I had a Chinese clone of this , sold it with a kershaw cryo bundle , Skeet skeet

Finally, a reviewer not sucking up to Medford and giving an honest analysis. These knives are overhyped and way overly priced. Just buy a Hinderer everybody.

just as you said... this knife is good at nothing, even a 10 bucks pry bar would be a better pry bar. Just useless af + it doesnt look good enough to be a safe queen!
