Great Pianosound.

I was at Sam Ash in Madison, Tennessee and tried out the styles as they are amazing, and the price being under $500 for an arranger keyboard.

The nylon string guitar sound is not that close but it's good for electronic music or other digitally composed music. I love this keyboard! I'm gonna buy it!

How does the metronome work?

Ended up returning it after 10 days, some notes in the left make some awful buzzing / rattling noise... This is noticeable when playing.

I came across the same exact keyboard with a different brand name, thomann sp5600, I'm confused. Is it the same keyboard or what? Who's copying who?

Interesting....this keyboard is the same as the Kurzweil KA120 with the exception of the two triple strike grand piano voices. I even downloaded the user manuals and except for the title page they match page for page. I love Kurzweil boards but Medeli is half the price.

It is not a copy but exactly the same machine with a different name. You can also find it as a Beale Stage Performer 1000. I think there is a decent chinese piano builder that provides a good value for money instrument at a low cost for potential distributors. Anyway, it is a very good instrument at this price level.

100% identical keyboards with different branding. The only different is that the Medeli user manual is a bit better than Thomann's. EDIT: I read somewhere that the Kurzweil KA120 has better sound chip, hence the higher price.

A very late reply, but maybe others want to know: Medeli makes the keyboard that others private-brand. I ordered the Thomann version.

The sound are very bad but how is the hammer action? I need just to connect to my Mac and vst instruments plugin

just opened one of these. bought at sam ash. only reason I chose this is because I saved a few buck because it "included" power cord. guess what? no power chord in box. spoiled my kids Christmas.
