Quick question... did they change the crosshair/aim system on this one? I HATED the crosshair system of the first game.. its horrible

Yeah, with the aiming scheme and FoV of the game, it's not too surprising.

I remember this game, but I didn't remember its high-end sound design! Another great pick.

Sounds and music are definitely one of its highlights.

Street by street was the best mission and it had a badass ambience

Yeah, all you have to do is input 2 passcodes and it will unlock everything.

High resolution rendering, anti-aliasing, PGXP and nearest neighbor textures. In other words, it's the original texture quality, unfiltered. You can check my Beetle PSX HW video in the process of how I configure the software. And thanks!

in ally in the desert you can run into the propellers of the airplane at the end and you get twisted sideways enough you can fly up in the air by banking funny thing i discovered when playing around this mission just dont go too high or you quickly find yourself lost in the sandstorm

The full setup and explanation process, include mouse aim can be found at: kzread.info/dash/bejne/hGio1MypaMKaf9o.html The settings described can be applied to most other emulation software if there's preference for it, like DuckStation. A game-specific tweak is to have overclock at around 160%, along with GTE overclock to have a smoother 30 fps experience.

Is it okay for me to use this footage for my Medal of Honor: Airborne retrospective? I'll just use a couple of seconds and will of course mention you in the video discription!

You play in ps1? How could you switch to a certain weapon? I remember only circle button was changing weapons and they had a specific order, meaning that I pressed multiple times to get my camera at hand xD. Thank you for reviving my childhood memories!

If you press fast enough, you can skip in-between switching animation and land directly on your desired weapon. Yes, it's the unmodified PS1 version, no other exist.

@@DfactorLongplays Thank you for answering! As an idea, I suggest you uploading all levels with podolski mode ( one shot one kill ). It is very demanding and requires strategy! I have seen it nowhere in youtube. :)

@@marcellompekas4050Mmm, the reason why you haven't seen one is because in both Medal of Honors doing a no damage of level is more about luck than skill. There are instances of unavoidable gunfire, especially so in Underground, where the player being hit is determined by pure luck. Not to mention bugs, where projectiles can hit you through walls. It's definitely possible, but it would be torture to make footage of.

You need Mouse Injector tool. I have a video on how to set it up from scratch: kzread.info/dash/bejne/hGio1MypaMKaf9o.html It's compatible with modern software such as Beetle PSX HW and DuckStation. It makes the mouse move the camera in-game, even if the game originally did not have such functionality. Any emulator supports binding buttons to you keyboard and mouse, it's the aiming that's important. You will have to manually bind the gamepad controls to keyboard/mouse to your liking. I would recommend a modern PC control scheme like W/A/S/D for movement, E for action/reload, LMB to shoot, etc.

Remembered playing this game back in the day - don't remember the graphics being quite this bad! lol

What's so shocking about them? They're bonus stages. Allegedly, they're scrapped levels from the first game that didn't make the cut, nor fit into the story progression, so they got repurposed as bonus/reward stages in this, second game.

Yes and no. There are 5 presets to choose from and the biggest difference is playing on a dpad vs analog sticks. In emulation software it's possible to remap the controls to match modern fps layouts. Lastly, it's possible to play it with mouse aim thanks to recent advancements with mouse injector tool, but that's for emulation software once again.
