Talking to actual professionals in the business has helped a lot. Learning about various methods and actually trying them out taught me a bunch. What works for others does not necessary mean that It will work for you. I'm still struggling to find what's best for my setup. environment, and Life Style. Thats the Medaka Journey. I should emphasize that more in my videos. Thank you for chiming in MedakaHead @SonnyG1 !

@@medakametal Definitely fish react to the variances of water we use. I switched to a carbon filter for the water that comes in to the house and it has made water changes much easier and less problems.And I don't have to buy the water treatment chemical anymore for water.

I love all the hairy sponges! How do you get them like that?

The algae in this tank grew during my 3 week of absents. 13 hr light, light feeding (auto-feeder) twice a day. If you have fry they will get tanged and die. Be careful MedakaHead @neekkofish Thank you for chiming in!

Thank you for taking about buying the international eggs. Or just eggs in general. With all of these strains entering the states from eggs are not even what they are supposed to be and just muddy up the community and what we are to believe is a certain type. Not to mention it is ILLEGAL!! Buying any eggs internationally from ebay is illegal importation. Weither they know or not. US fish and game is watching those sellers. I know dor a fact. People are being fined a lot of money. Up to $300+ per single egg. In general folks are just not informed and are being greedy. They want what they want no matter the consequences to the community as a whole. Hopefully that will change.

With the amount of Legitimate Japanese Breeders looking to ship Medakas (not Eggs) to the USA, we will see more and more Legitimate USA channels opening soon. The future of Medakas here in the USA will only become brighter!

You had mentioned the temp, if warmer, will cause the organs will be stunted so to speak...very interesting...wonder if temp not being ideal is similar with other sps...

Its just that you don't want to use the higher temps to accelerate their physical growth too fast. Their sexual organs etc have a hard time keeping up. You may end up with a desirable size to breed but their sexual organs may have not developed fully. Thank you for chiming in MedakaHead @Mrsboncouer !
