Med Student Hospital Shoes (Sanita, Calzuro, and Birkenstock)
Фильм және анимация
These are the shoes that I'm trying out to keep my feet comfortable during rounds. It's been a wild ride for the two weeks of the internal medicine rotation that I've had so far. Hopefully I can keep up the channel to document my experience learning medicine straight from the patients.

I've been thinking about getting compression socks and now I totally will! thank you! so helpful
Love this, I work in the ED at a level one hospital and the trauma surgeon recommended calzuros. Yet, I stumbled upon Birkenstock’s and I’m undecided!
Thanks for posting your research. Very helpful.
I’m a housekeeper at one of the best and busiest hospitals in the country. My feet kill me most of the time. Definitely going to order.
I used to wear the compression socks but toe area gives out (get holes fast). Calve compression (sport) sleeves work better for me. I can wear socks that I am comfortable in. I used to get leg cramps during sleep on the days I worked. But since wearing compression socks/sleeve, I did not get leg cramps. Dansko professional clogs are what I wear. On the first day on the floor, I experience terrible back pain with tennis shoes. I purchased Dansko at full price after asking many nurses who were wearing clogs...No more back pain. I also tried the new Dansko clogs with the insole. I prefer the Dansko professional (without insole).
Great video, keep pushing out content. I might also recommend Birkenstock Super Birki clogs. I use these in clinic exclusively.
Bro, thank YOU.
Great video thx
At the end of the day it depends on the person. The burks destroyed my back but others like them. I had the same pair of sanitas for 12 years and they just died yesterday. Already ordered a new pair because they make me stand straight and reduce foot pain after standing a long time…..they do look dumb tho
There are cool looking compression socks, just so you know! LOL
hey! Im a second year med student too and your video came up. Sounds like Birks are the winner. My sister is a doctor and did not recommend Dansko or clogs for the very same reason, twisting the ankles. She recommend Birkenstock clogs too. Thanks for the video
Birkenstock’s is what I wear in surgery
More colours would be awesome
Hi I’m not a Med student but try the crocs healthcare clog see if you like it. I work at the hospital and constantly on my feet for long period of times and I have crocs clog for healthcare worker for about 15 months now and it has really help my feet. My feet isn’t sore, hope the tip help.
I’ve been wearing Dansko XP 2 clogs at work for years. I’ve never fallen because of them, but I have gone over a few times on my ankle. Not bad enough to hurt myself, but it happens. Croc style shoes are a big thing right now, and I’ve see several people fall wearing them. They are too lightweight, and now they have the flared soles…in my opinion, they just aren’t safe if you do a lot of running around. I wear Birkenstocks in my “real life” and was thinking about getting a pair for work, they are so unbelievably comfortable.

Try the super burki, they are $39.99 org $80 only for the yellow vegan ones. I figured I’d buy them and if the yellows feel good I’d opt for an $80 pair in a new color.
the crocs on the clock literide is best cushioned
Can I ask how sizing is compared to your other birks (sorry about them getting stolen) or other shoes for reference?
damn i hope i run into a dr like you ;)
Was the strap too loose?
I Calzuro sono davvero eccellenti
