according to what I have read in our OB-GYNE book. It states that "because face presentations among term-size fetuses are more common when there is some degree of pelvic inlet contraction, cesarean delivery frequently is indicated."

at around the two-minute mark you mention that the presentation when in the right anterior mento iliac position it shall engage in the right oblique diameter of the brim, i dont think this is correct and its rather the left oblique diameter which is more eutocique.

Here I have explained the mechanism in face presentation, in brow presentation mechanism is not possible, with persistent brow labour become obstructed, in very rare the brow presentation convert into face or vertex presentation. Prolonged brow may lead to overlapping of bones that is moulding, or may have caput formation. Usually cases with brow delivered by CS.

In cord prolapse bladder is filled with 400-750ml normal saline by a Foley's catheter, then inflate the balloon or clamp the catheter

Thank you,thank you,thank you? My son was presenting in a strange position for the last few months of pregnancy, l kept saying to the medical staff that he was in the wrong position eventually they said he was breech and eventually turned him . A few days later l felt him turn ,but l kept telling them that he kicking me in the wrong place(l had 3 other children) . Okay,to cut a long story short, he was in the " wrong " position and was presenting face first. I had to have an emergency C- Section and he had a huge kaput (lump) on his forehead where he was trying to enter the canal. He suffered injuries to the C.-8 vertebrae. Basically,if l had given birth naturally,he would have broken his neck.

Hi....me also had the same complication...nd had emergency csec....we try to vaginal birth after Ceserean....so baby came face presentation....wht about u....
