Been playing Temulch would appreciate someone's input. Your opinion on a few different advanced combos to do from his CC with ideal weapons would be nice. I've been doing dual blades. I figured out one combo I think is pretty good. Wisp> running H charge | tempo dodge> H > cV > sj H > V | tempo dodge > V > V. All up it does ~2300 damage, there are two chances to break it (marked by '|' breaks in the text here) but they are small windows with no parry or charge opportunity. Even if you whiff super hard and mess up a little as long as it's not the cV it's still something like 1500 dmg. Interested to know what your thoughts are.

This helped me sooo much, i started playing 1 week ago and every guide i saw was so complicated and the "begginer combos looked like pro combos" this is was i was looking for, simple, easy to read and truly a begginer guide. Tnks a loot men

thank you. i am liking the dual halberds because i love you have the option to charge and run and whenever you release you become blue. that makes your blue attack unpredictable!

You can also cancel the blue focus with a jump or a crouch if you don't want to launch into the air! They've been a strong addition to the game, I'm also having lots of fun with them.

Even when I get very HEAVY comboed I try my heart out cause it gives me experience against it. It has also shown why I have always needed to learn how to combo and get out of combos. I know I am kinda bad at this game but I always enjoy it.

Update for those of you revisiting, or just now finding, this guide. Pinned combat with some updates for those of you just finding, or revisiting, this guide! Heng Sword has the same combo as Katana. It's special mechanics are too much for a comment so let me know if you want a video for it. Fan cannot combo off of charged attacks, but has the same reward off an uppercut. Additionally, if you land wind (it's version of soulbreak) at close range, it goes into an uppercut for a full combo. And you can always land wind into wind if you have the stamina. Wind is a light so can be clanked with, or blue topped, but is generally safer than soulbreak. Fists have the EASIEST optimal combos in the game. Try H, c.V, V, H to get started. Also needs its own video for special mechanics, but tap dodge while charging to get the party started.

I, personally, would really aprriciate an input + cancels guide or some of your gameplay footage with input explanations. Thank you for a video though, it really did help! 😊 UPD. Now i'm also begging for a grapple combo guide, i found 1000000 grapple combo guides, but did not understand sh*t :)))))

Thank you for the awesome guide! Whenever you do a combo, do you typically buffer subsequent moves in the combo by holding them, spamming them, or just clicking them once with timing down?

Depends on the day! In general I end up spam clicking to buffer things, but I’m trying to clean up my inputs.

Amazing content, it would be great if you can post a combat guide but diving more into defence, that would make ppl more confortable while being attacked and more proned to choose the right timing to counter Am new to the game and that’s probably why it might happen, but while in combat i tend to smash buttons, or try mix up, but when I get bots or slightly better players i tend to die more often than not

I just realised most of the combos somebody else taught me actually aren't true lol thanks. Was doing V>V>cV>dodge cancel and repeat with longsword on recommendation, they told me if you do cV fast enough then dodge cancel and start again it's an infinite true combo but now I actually know how to test it myself I can tell they are obviously wrong, there is a gap between V and cV that is dodgeable no matter how you do it

Go for combo mode with disengagement off.

I played my first quick match yesterday (first game with real players). I won just mashing great sword against everyone. I'm pretty sure they filled the lobby with easy bots though. Because I know nothing.

Actually all you need to do is spam the first attack in a combo to stun lock opponents completely

I find it incredibly shitty design that almost none of these combos are consistent, or even physically possible on my 25 ping -_- Like, that's a massive disadvantage... In any competently made fighting game this would be a deal breaker, a massive part of getting good at them is to be able to consistently punish mistakes as hard as you can. I randomly started downloaded things in the background and even harder ToD combos became braindead easy at around 120 ping...I picked up Takeda because he specifically seemed to have spicy, fun to learn combos, only to realise i can barely do any of them. Lame.

Everything in this video is totally possible and consistent on 25 ping. In fact you should be able to get an extra hit with dualies.

@@Bootleg_Gaming Sorry, this was mostly meant for your bread and butter combos video, but even the GS 3 part here is incredibly inconsistent for me. I managed to do it while holding forward during j.H and releasing it during j.V, but it's an incredibly tight timing and 90 percent of the time j.V just doesn't track. It might just be skill issue, but i've been able to learn frame perfect combos before in other fighting games so it's not like it's my first rodeo.

Lots of those combos are actually pretty difficult and require some practice. I also have an FGC background (if you couldn’t tell by the numpad notation, lol). Lots of them took me an hour or more before they clicked. Try angling your camera during the j.H as well, up and to the left is what I typically do. I found it helps. If you’re good at frame perfect stuff though consider doing the c.V, H, H version instead. It’s more damage and it’s really just timing that makes it rough for me.

Man i just want to play a game and have fun. Im sick of games that you need to watch 40 hours of videos just to know whats going on amd to have a chance. This sucks
