You seem to be adjusting the "beat adjustment" and not the timing regulator. The timing regulator is the one that captures the hairspring in the middle of the spring between two pins. The "beat error" adjustment is rotating the end of the spring where the hair spring stud attaches. if you move the timing regulator alone the s/d number will change and the beat error will stay the same. Adjust each one for a zero reading on the timegrapher.

You are correct sir he shows the wrong levers for the adjustments. They should be just the opposite from what he is showing in the video.

@@tickingWATCH It is the opposite from what you show in your diagram. The one you show as the beat error is actually the speed and the one you show as the speed is the beat error. Just trying to help you as I know you are still in the learning phase.

Da się jednak jest już nieco więcej zabawy. Trzeba zdemontować z mostka koło balansowe wraz ze sprężyną a następnie ustawiać sprężynę włosową bezpośrednio na osi balansu. Najprościej jednak sprawdzić czy kamień przerzutowy, jeśli balans jest w czasie spoczynku, jest idealnie pomiędzy kołkami na których opiera się kotwica wychwytu. 👍

Mam pytanie, jaka technika wykonuje się ultra małe zebatki? Uzywa się w tym celu fototrawienia? Zalezy mi na podobnym efekcie żeby linie byly rzędu 0.5-1mm

Z tego co mi wiadomo to mechanicznie, są też filmiki na youtube jak pokazują cięcie drobnych elementów łukiem elektrycznym. Na pewno można spróbować fototrawienia ☺

Hi, thanks for the video....my watch movement runs too fast it gains almost 2 hours a day! So adjusted the time regulator but nothing happened. What do you think is the problem? Thanks in advance!

Wind it fully than wait half of it power reserve and than you should check it accuracy and regulate, ex watch with 42h power reserve you wind it fully than you wait approximately 21h and than checking / regulation

Can I suggest, if anyone cannot afford a meter to try the Watch Accuracy Meter app (android) I just used it and it showed me the beat error nicely. It's pretty new and is still being developed.

An App is a brilliant idea especially when you have only few watches. In the pas I also was using an app but doing more and more watches I decided to buy a timegrapher. 😀
