I love how you can distill the mechanism to demonstrate it and also show the completed model in all its colourful glory.

I don't usually say this about mocs, but this really should be a LEGO set. Or LEGO should be designing more sets that combine bricks and technic with interesting mechanisms like this.

I think it would fit a snake better. Frogs have pretty long tongues and they stretch them further, where as snakes use only tips to taste the air.
