On a side note, I know I'm late to the party but I'm hooked on BAR now...When the economy scales and bots start popping out of the factory, I just love it :D

It is an awesome game
My 1 tip to you would be to use less consumables (at least the ones that only lasts for 1 round). It doesn't matter if you win or lose until you lose all your HP (besides that you don't want it to be a complete one sided stomp of course, or you won't get any xp). Using consumables from the beginning is just bleeding money. It also reduces the xp you can get from killing enemies (although it also denies xp to stuff it kills of course). Consumables is best used to win decisive battles that decide the entire match, not every battle, as they just put you behind on economy. It's like when you play magic: the gathering. You don't care about losing or spending your HP before it actually hits 0. So you shouldn't really think of the game as individual rounds, but rather a whole match. For example if you leave an enemy counter alone for a while but you're not losing too badly (or even winning) it might make sense to actually not counter it right away. Then when you finally do put the counter in place you swing the battle so hard they take massive damage.

The deployable missiles actually give xp to your entire army based on what it kills, unless they have changed that.

@@Tyrgalon If so that makes them slightly less bad, but still not great unless you have a very specific purpose for deploying them (since it's just a 1 round benefit).

@@TheRealXartaX Missiles stay indefinetly until used, but I agree generally you want to spend 90% of your money on permanent units and upgrades across a whole match. Especially early game when you dont have extra money unless you picked some specific specilisations.

@@Tyrgalon Everything stays indefinitely until used. But it's still a one time use. And missiles are going to be used 99% of the time the round they're played anyway. There's a bit more argument to things like missile interceptors, but it's very risky since they don't return if they die.
In his earlier games he mostly increases his units health, I think he needed to balance upgrading health and attack more
