It's a real shame EA gave up on anthem when the devs had such a big plan to overhaul the whole game to make it better

Since when does EA gives a fvxk about devs and gamers.They just want a cash grabs and onto the next cash grab.Fixing a mistake was never in their dictionary.I hope they go bust and it teaches a lesson to all other companies to put in real effort.

We're all partially to blame for its death. Fans went pretty hardcore against it, I can see why some biz exec would pull the plug. It really had something special no other game had. Maybe in the future though!

Has high-tech mech suits and defenses. Doesn't have advanced early warning systems to detect an entire freaking army...

Right? don't even need a advance detection system. Having a checkpoint 3-4 miles down the road would of given you warning.

I will never forget this game. The very definition of wasted potential.

I honestly think this is a better set up than whatever Anthem had. I honestly don't even remember what happened in the actual game outside of your tech boi stealing the OP armor because the player character hurt his feelings. I wanted to play as this guy or his kid if he died.

@@Draugmoth I know. What I said what this cutscene is a better premise than what we got in the real game.

This was one of my first games, I vividly remember seeing the Javelin suits on the cover and thinking it was the coolest thing. It’s a shame what happened to it, maybe one day someone will step up and remake it, as it’s not like EA is going to do anything with the rights. On another note, we were so close to getting a banger story, all the lore was there, so much potential, but they just couldn’t pull it together.

Even if someone did try to remake it better then EA. They wouldn’t allow it since they have the rights to it. Why? For money from the lawsuits. They don’t care about the game and may not do anything with the rights but they sure as hell won’t let anyone remake that game.

2 more years 'til Avengers 6 Secret Wars comes out, dudes.

Reminds me of Star Wars. The 4 legged walker mechs? AT-ATs. The freelancer soldiers/mechs flying around? Mandalorians. Mandalorians using their jetpacks.

I actually really like this game

At the end it was a good game. This is the beginning of the end for studios when they started lying and releasing broken games along with their loot box BS. We are just now starting to see the ship turn ever so slightly with some studios like SEGA returning to form and going back to the roots, the basics of what made games great entertainment in the first place.

They could have held a better defense if those c-rams *_actually acted like c-rams_*

This game could have been another Warframe...

Its a real shame that this game flopped so hard in the end. The concept was awesome.

Oh anthem...such a great game with even more Potential...but it was allready the time when people couldn't realize anymore what is a good game and what is a bad game...

There were mech games before Titanfall, too.

maybe if they had turrets other than Machinegun they could've actually held out, that and an early warning system. that and any weapon OTHER than one that fires bullets.

makes me cry every time i think of this game it was pretty fun such a waste

Anthem, it's on Origin (EA) and I THINK it's on Xbox game pass so you don't have to buy it just get the game pass for pc for the month to play The Gameplay isn't exactly like this, its a lot of flying. You're basically iron man with guns and the game IS fun enough, I just think (I didn't finish the game) it's not worth buying
