Shared some of my complaints with the devs and they said Mech pricing and the color customizations are both things they're already looking at so that's good news to hear.

Good to hear. The Mech pricing was overblown. Another Mecha Hero Shooter, Gundam Evolution, shut down after only 1 year and part of that was horrible it was to unlock a new mech beyond the F2P selection.

REPETITIVE audio loops needs to addressed as well. Even by WATCHING your video, one can only tolerate "lock on to your front/left/right/back/different dimension on a parallel world" so much... before going bonkers. Personally, I would turn it OFF if NOTHING is done about this.

Speed needs to be improved

I like that the fights are actual fights and you don't get killed in 2 seconds like in a lot of these games.

In my opinion slower times to kill feel better in fps games. puts more room for skill in fights rather than just sneezing with shotguns/smgs.

@@kyuuri5791 sort of true. I really liked Dirty Bomb and it's slow time to kill but, new players would get slapped and leave/not come back because of it. Didnt think it was much of a problem till I played that F2P dragon arena game and had high level players slap my crap. Def didnt feel good but, I dont know if progression mattered in that game.

Armored core flashbacks

Avoid the pitfalls of Gundam Evolution e.g. they need consistent balance patches & ease of unlocking characters for F2P players. If the latter isn't addressed like how it appears to be the case now i.e. 100 levels to unlock 1 Unit, then the game could run into issues quickly.

I remember a game the name sounded like Real Steel 2 / Reel Steel 2; it was also mechs I really enjoyed it, I don't exactly remember if it had much verticality, but I do remember I can equip two shield and really have fun in capture the flag, I try to find some videos of it again.

Havent watched the video yet but by resurrection you mean reviving someone who's dead? Cuz if thats the case OBVIOUSLY it makes more sense to eject out and get a new mech, you cant bring a dead person back to life

China's gaming industries are going all out. From Black Myth To Mecha Break. They are making their hardest move to create all genres games. It's really impressive.

The unbearable voice spam could be due to the fact that English phrases are generally longer compared to Chinese (the devs' language), although I feel like a lot of them need to be replaced by simple sound effects and visual prompts instead. Some voicelines can also be removed entirely since they're not that important (such as "first kill") Hopefully they take their time to polish these out before release.

I thought this would be an Armored Core meets Gundam Extreme Vs meets Macross Frontier. Boy, was I wrong.

Game's build looks great so far. But they really should cut down on the AI voice lines, and as you mentioned, they should figure something out for queuing up and getting thrown into a role you don't want. Thanks for the vid! Definitely making me more excited to play this game!

As a ZOE 2 vet NEEDING a fast paced mecha game, this scratched some itches I had. 100% will be buying/playing day one. I loved the testing; few quirks to iron out and hopefully we get far more game but overall a very fun game.

Have this game on my steam wishlist. Cannot wait to play it! Glad I came across this video. It looks fun! Gives me Virtual On and ZOE vibes.

I think it would be more unique if the pilots each had different control abilities/bonuses, and then you pick a mecha after that. So the mecha aren't tied to the pilots. More customization.

Actually yes, like each pilot is different and are better suited for piloting specific mechs; though they can still be used

The deployment looks cool, always one of the most fun parts of any mecha genre.

A lot of mech games recently. The Gundam game, Armored Core, Custom Mech Wars, and now this.

Anyone played the good ol days of Exteel? My call-sign was Chaos-Starter from clan Synergy (#3 Top Clan) of the game, I was second best CTF player only to 1 other player in that game for Oceania/NA, guy I remember was from Clan Exiles (#1). This game is giving me that nostalgic feeling. Please let this genre of gaming return, the mecha-shooter games. 2007 - 2010, was the golden age for it. I WANT TO RELIVE THOSE MOMENTS, and it seems Mecha Break is going to be it!

Now that Ive watched some uncut gameplay footage, I dunno if I still like this game. It needs a lot more polished but it looks like the devs are gonna push it out soon

Moment you said Hero shooter, Immediately I thought Gundam Evolution…. And we saw how that turned out and my excitement for MB went down. I’ll still try it to see if maybe this Hero shooter may just be the one to keep me hooked. Damn, the future for MB is looking rather grim…. I was really hoping it would be an Arena shooter (Hero and Arena shooters are NOT the same) with Raid events.

Was interested in this at first glance, but a pvp only hero shooter just is not it for me.

reminds of Nexon Exteel loved that game and playstyle arena shooter but going to need alot of playmodes if its going to stay alive

they can easily make this another gundam evolution if they f up and not listen to the few people they let actually play the game. if i boot up the game and i immediately see loads of things behind locks and pay walls its a donezo for me

Armored core feels definitely faster in movement than this.

obviously but AC6 multiplayer is downright terrible. It was never meant to be a multiplayer game in the first place but the braindead entitled playerbase pushed, demanded for it. And look at the online count lol. The fights are flashy as fuck but everything about the pvp revolved around abusing stunlocking. They finally toned it down, but you still have OP tank legs, and that new spider perma hovering bs. The balance of parts is pretty bad, doesnt matter if mechs move faster or not.

This looks fun and chaotic. It also feels like that you are actually inside a mech suit and not a squishy bug.

Such a bummer, I was really hoping for a single player/co-op game with Story and Career modes. Or something like Warframe. Arena/Hero shooters are not very appealing anymore.

I love mech games but idk with the battlepass and gacha chest stuff. I usually avoid any game with either of those in it. Really sucks that they went that route..

if its any similar with naraka bladepoint, it shouldnt be that bad, like to be able to buy a new character in game it usually very fast and easy using the in-game currency, just play the game and you get them in no time, but most expensive things came from the cosmetics like costume and accessories, some we can just get by buy them with real money, some need to get through gacha, which usually the costume we can get through buying usually is already good looking

ikr, at least with Gundam Evo, Gundam's already a long-time established IP. They already have a devoted audience, unlike this one. Not only that, but the fact that this is Chinese-made already poses a problem. Not everyone wants to support anything Chinese and also it seems like the CCP isn't all that okay with their citizens playing video games which is funny considering Tencent's one of their moneymakers.

The melee combat imo feels kinda stiff and could definitely benefit from some momentum in the attacks and character movement, other than that I'm very excited

So it's Gundam Evolution without the branding? It'll probably go the way of GE then as well.

If I'd seen this a year ago, I might've been excited, but after playing AC 6, I've been spoiled. This looks pretty stiff and uninteresting compared to that.

This game looks incredibably promising, and I can't wait to play. From the footage shown so far: - Boost dodge speed looks good, but BASE speed looks abysmally slow, alsmost needing to be increased x2, or x3. Especially compared to Armored Core's base movement. - Melee attacks look like they have some nice weight to them, but the animations themself look slowed down and locked into place in an odd sense. Looking forward to seeing other mechs though, hoping the base speed of mechs is increased quite a bit, increasing the overall flow and movement in fights.

No story, no coop, not even a PvPvE gamemode. Hero shooters are kind of a thing of the past and feel like most people are sick of them

Would love this style of game, but based on the Zoids universe....now that will be a game I love to get into

For a Browser game, looks good!

If they play their cards right and balance the mechs properly this has a potential to be an esports game 😀 the game speed is also good not to fast not to slow for audiences to follow when its streamed or broadcasted online.

Reminds me of Robotech. Couch co op 1v1s in Robotech were my childhood

The actual combat looks chunky and responsive but also way slower than what I expected.

So interesting that they put so much effort into customization of the pilot when you barely see them. Could have easily just gone with a flight suit with helmet.

Man these Amazing SeaSun Entertainment games are pretty sweet with their recent game. The graphic details of Snowbreak are amazing and the gameplay of each character is creative. If Mecha Break turns out to be better than the previous Gundam games, I'll give it a try.

I'm getting vibes as a hybrid of For Honor, Armored Core, Zone of the Enders, and Daemon x Machina. My money is the final mode being PvPvE with a Arms Fort type enemy stomping around the map with a large points boost at stake for the team that takes it down.

Hope the customization has actual depth. If they go the Gundam Evo route it'll just end up another generic hero shooter with mecha skins.

This is like Gundam 1980's but with Hathaway level of sophistication and technology.

It seem fun while explain the pros and cons. Sniper either good or bad as same with other mecha. Which require some team work. Must have tested with dev team which they must have use the voice vs random matches with strangers.

Same. I was expecting it to be more like Warframe where you go into missions with other people and unlock/buy parts as you go.

If any of you are old enough to remember the glory days of Exteel.... This is the closest thing we've gotten since. Hopefully it allows great customization and isn't mostly a "pick your hero" nonsense laziness.

First hero shooter I ever played, before Overwatch existed, was a mecha game called Hawken. (Not to be confused with its godawful reincarnation)

NGL, this game gives me serious Macross vibes, especially Macross Frontier with the mecha and high speed combat.

So downside we don't get a replacement for ZOE fans, but EXTEEL fans are gonna love this!

Very good video and cool voice, i liked it a lot. I really liked how stylized it looks and the gameplay and the mechs, but it is really REALLY sad that it seems to be taking the "HAWKEN route", and i don't think it will be sustainable, people are gonna quit really fast

Only 25 seconds in and a warehouse guy, my eyes immediately beam to the forklifts to see if they're driving safely and then I begin to wonder... you mean to tell me they can make they hyper futuristic robots with all this advanced technology and we still have regular ass forklifts driving around? 🤨

The combat doesn't look nearly as fast or fluid as it did in the trailer footage they showed off, that's kind of disappointing. I'm glad to see developers are acknowledging the mecha genre again, but this game doesn't really seem like the one.

Looks super fun and a game that i would love. Imo they should make it to where you can have multiple of the same mech on one team. Its always annoying in hero shooters when you cant play the character you want to play because somebody else got it and for some games it makes since because how thwy was designed but for this game it looks like it shouldn't have a limit to 1 per team.
