I juse a medium size Tupperware container with a handful of kosher salt and a handful of borax 20 mule team and mix it all with water.
369 another great show thanks again for all the information
756 thanks guys!
Thanks Chris. 832. I normally watch your videos after posted so not able to ask questions. For me the problem with meat is availability and cost since I don’t go every day or week. But do you have any experience with plastic meat? I think ‘bite my herring’ is one brand, gulp has some sort of 3” squid. Also ever heard of using a small perch? Thanks again.
@tangledtacklefishing

I’ve used squids many times in the past but limited experience with the new plastic strips.
#601 Thanks for all the info!
Thank you for sharing all this great information. My guess is 303.
559 Thanks to all for sharing their knowledge.
#679 another good way to set the length on your hook is to tie a bobber stop knot on the back and the leader will be adjustable for the hook length. another observation is out west here all our baits spin fast and back where you are you guys like slow roll I do not think the fish care as long as it looks wounded the thump of a spin doctor or Pro troll will give the bait a kick..
Great video . How often do you have to change out your meat ?

Guys, do you wash your meat heads? This weekend I grabbed my black rig and I noticed it stunk. Should I wash it with lemon joy? I have heard of people doing that with spoons.
@tangledtacklefishing

When you spoke of the "recipe" on the Michigan Sportsman site using the borax and kosher salt. On his page i believe it says it would be good for 7 days in the fridge. You guys spoke of it lasting all summer in the fridge. Am i misunderstanding something?
@tangledtacklefishing

You don't talk about using anchovies much, do you not use them? They work great on Huron where smelt are the main diet for salmon.
