- Measure large voltage when using more resistors, diodes. With this simple circuit, the LED lights up showing the corresponding number of volts in turn. The error of this measurement is also very small from 0.1-0.3v.
-When you need to monitor the voltage of a device through LED count display, alternative solution when you don't have a voltage meter. You can add more resistors to monitor larger voltages, monitor AC voltage.
