Thank you Mr. Peterson for helping me understand these passages of the Bible. I struggle to fully understand what is the lesson on certain passages. I don’t know if the Ark exists but I do know the greatest commandment is from Matthew 22:37. I learned this from you and I thank you for it. Thank you once again.

This has nothing and everything to do with the video but please listen if you want to otherwise leave it alone and ignore it. Hello my name is Justin and I'm a fellow Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college student. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't. I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict. Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers. Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of but not macro or micro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word. Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. I’m not religious, I am agnostic though. I’ve been listening to a lot of JP lately and a lot of his more religious speeches and lectures. He really has such a talent for making things I wasn’t interested in, very interesting. I could listen to JP read more passages, just like this, all day.

religion is to rely on.. does not mean that one can not rely on self... and be aware of god.

I think Jordan understands the nature of God's presence and being better than most believers. Many want a very concrete and bounded conception of God and don't comprehend the transcendent nature of the word logos and what it really means to seek God and incorporate it into their lives

When Jesus's Mother and brothers were asking for him, he didn't asked where Mary was . He said the ones which do the work of my Father they are my mother brothers and sisters. Mary represents your soul and the doctrine of Christ (Apostles) represents Sarah for all believers became children of Sarah. Which believers? The ones which believes he came in flesh. How did He get there ? Through the word of the ones which were send (His Apostles). The word toke on flesh and dwelf among us and we saw His Glory (JOHN 1verse 14)

What a great job JP, you nailed it. You are really shining through as someone whose Christian faith is getting very full and I am (we are) benefiting from the overfilling of your cup. I can't wait for more. I Like psychology. I Like philosophy and reason, but I personally cannot get enough of the Word of God, and the way that believers wrestle with and revere it and articulate and deliver it in the end. I hope we can get more. I think you are in a unique position to be able to proffer the Gospel to folks that otherwise would not be on the recieving end. Oh please listen to JP. He is an expert on EVERYTHING. His recent and latest expertise is Christianity. He isn't doing so great on the political front, but never mind, he's switched to religion. I believe everything JP tells me because he uses these big words I don't understand. That tells me right off that he's smarter than I am. Last night shortly after taking my sixth benzi for the day, I prayed to JP for clarity and in a dream he told me he was god. (side note-- I have tried to get off of benzis, but I can't afford the Russian cure--not wealthy like JP. I may have to initiate a GO FUND ME.) Anyway, I believed him when he said he was god cuz like I said he uses all these biggly words. And just lately on twitter, he told me which women are beautiful and which are not so that I now know heavier set women are very unattractive, so I am ditching my present girlfriend and looking for one that only eats beef and salt because that was JP's diet--maybe still is. Also a woman that doesn't wear makeup because women who wear makeup are inviting sexual harassment. This is actually something he claimed--look it up! He admitted that three of his students accused him of sexual harassment. No doubt they were wearing makeup--the little harlots. And I know he is right about this because he is god and uses all these big words. I Pray in Jordan Peterson's name, Amen.

Can you review Dave Murphys videos? I'd like your opinion about his research of true Hebrew history. He also states other books of the OT ie Enoch Jasser etc removed deliberately to hide the real truth. He also states the NT a Roman Greek construct to enslave the people. I'm on the search for the truth and if indeed we have been deceived I would like to know in light of all the things coming out in the last two years ie pandemic WEF 4th Reich etc. Scary times. According to DM my origin would be from Noah's son Japheth and from Esau so an Edomite....and Fallen angel dna ie white skin and RH negative blood ie caucasian European. I am baptized as a Christian.

I remember a few years ago when Jordan Peterson began questioning Christianity and Jesus Christ within himself. I prayed that God would reach him, and recognize the help that Jordan has brought selflessly to countless millions of lives. God answers prayers.

The Ark of the Covenant is a type for Jesus Christ. It contained the Rod which showed the way, the broken tablets which gave the truth, and the manna which gave the life. Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.”

The ark is not a type for Jesus Christ. As Hebrews clearly teaches, the ark is a type of the throne that exists in Heaven, and it also symbolizes God's government. Does anyone ready or study the Bible?

Beautiful how you have synthesized all of the meaning of these traditions and symbols. As Rohr says Jesus spoke in Parables because metaphor takes you deeper, He risked misinterpretation so that some will discover the deep meaning. Literal interpretation is the most shallow. Go deeper. Resist the temptation to make god in your own image. Instead Trust that we are made in God’s image, and attempt to understand what that means. Thank you Dr. Peterson.

Wow, my eyes just watered up and I feel like the sun is shining out of me, not u like the care-bear stare, lol, not even joking right now. I'm always in aw of the simplistic, poetic, perfection Dr. peterson adds to the harmony of morals that create a warm glow deep in the soul that reverberates thru the bones and will never be forgotten in the holy place within and I mean it in the way that makes it even more than that, much more. Now, answers to questions a scientist would have 30 years ago are bursting into the most prestigious campuse of learning, like I was missing a key update that uncloaked the connections to everything. Amazingly it showed me the complete collection of problems and their answers, and it was "automatic!" I have not seen this conclusion anywhere, but I'm sure someone else has spelled it out as it seems obvious. My oldest thoughts of the subconscious always made me feel like it was doing the majority of work, and it is, the autonomic nervous system as science calls it runs all functions of homeostasis with precision and patience and upon fixing just a couple simple word meanings, my subconscious unveiled it's true potential; To look at the question and all variables as close as possible then move the consciousness to a hobby and the spark pulls the hard question down and calculates and Infinite number or answers with our quantum brains and weight all the answers until the one with the most value pops up like an empty shampoo bottle held just under the surface of water. If your sacrifice to true meanings of all words then the subC plays scrabble until the most divine concepts arise with the highest burden of proof layered in concomitantly. Everytime I get an answer to reassert this discover I am compelled with a tear to share the best of this with everyone I bump into, on purpose. It's a shame that it took the threat of annihilation for people in America to come together in a way that they never have before sharing the best of themselves and because it was all true, technology also developed at the highest rate ever, confirming it takes an unthinkable pain to cause unthinkable prosperity, so know your evil, don't look away ever!

Awesome !! I often think about words, their form, structure, and origin. It seems to me that they grow almost like a human being does. Most words start out small, and have prefixes and suffixes added, To make larger words that encompass more complex thought, over time. The root words come from a variety of older Languages. IE: Latin Greek and French. These are probably the most common, And those words come from even older languages like: Sumerian and Aramaic, And these words have grown and developed, In depth and complexity across the globe, through out time, in all languages. The purpose always being: to make Communication Better. And in this process, Attempting to force all of humanity to tear down the ( Metaphorical verbal statues), that Society's Communication Paradym is built on: So they can feel good about Their obvious psychotic issues. I believe these people to be: metaphorical parasites, to the body of society as a whole. Stealing the nutrients that belong to the organism of society. Preventing the organs that receive signals from the brain, to do their job properly. Slowly but surely, Destroying the ability of the body ( Society), to function normally. It is literally a metaphorical illness of emotional and mental blindness, That will affect all of us negatively, in real time. This thought process can lead one to believe that: The power of words, Is intrinsic, And intentional, not merely relegated to religious writings, but based on the Axiom of Truth. No it doesn't. According to Rome his shredding of blood at Calvary was not good enough. They keep doing it over and over

I love Jordan. He has helped me so much you cannot believe. I find it fascinating at the same time though (assuming he believes what he is reading here) that he puts logic and science to one side. On the other hand if he is only talking about stories and how we process their meaning, well that's obviously ok.

In a way Yes it is about the redemption of people like us.

This was Spirit verbalized. I've understood pretty much everything he said for awhile now, and JP has taken the Ineffable and transformed it into the material world. Yes, I believe the Ark of the Covenant still exists. Gold won't tarnish, so even if the Acacia wood has rotted, it still has its primal form. As for where it is: Possibly Oak Island, or maybe Antarctica. That's what "Legend" says--but who knows? (God refuses to be interviewed about it.) The most important Commandment "Love the Lord your God with all your Heart, mind and soul, and Love your neighbor as yourself" Jesus of Nazareth, ca 30 AD

As a lifelong Atheist I have come to realise, at an older age, that the alternatives to Faith in God, as they are manifesting themselves in society, are, in a lot of cases, destructive of the building blocks of our society, of our Living Together. This belief in the necessity to tear down what Is to reconstruct what Should Be is not the answer. I now try to reconcile the good things that are worth keeping coming from traditional religion (mostly the ethics of course) with tearing down the things that have been bad and turn them in to something that is good.

The contents of the Ark of the Covenant just made sense to me! Jesus is the true bread that came from heaven (mana). We are to eat Jesus! He is the living word. The word of God in the flesh, lived out. The very spoken word of God that created the universe, in whose image we are made! We eat Jesus by seeking Him with a pure heart. This is how we get His person constituted into us, by seeking and spending time with Him. Seeking God and doing what he says is how we show that we love him. This is loving God with all our heart, soul, and strength! THEN His law becomes imprinted on our mind and our heart and He fellowships with us in spirit! The more often we eat the more of Him we express, manifesting His kingdom on earth as His priests and kings, as coworkers with Christ! His Spirit worked out in us is LIVING the life of Christ! His law is imprinted on our hearts and minds! HE becomes the law lived out in us because he lived the perfect life! This is what the tablets represent! THEN our spirit becomes the budding rod! He brings new life to the dead stick! The budding rod is the work of the Spirit within OUR spirit. Breathing the breath of the Holy Spirit back into the vine that was cast away due to its iniquity. It’s His very presence lived out THROUGH US! Filling us up, overflowing out into the world as rivers of living water! And in fact WE are the ark! The very vessel that contains The Living God of the universe walking through the desert to bring light and love and flourishing life to the dark, lifeless world in bondage to sin! The ark had to be carried on foot! This is walking with God, carrying out His will and His testimony and His abundant life and love to all the earth. All of these elements are the work of God in US, the ark! Nothing is to be spared in the land of Canaan (representing our soul, and eventually, the unsearchable riches of Christ). We are to be completely poured out in spirit, leaving nothing off the alter, destroying all idols, completely surrendering everything in our being to God. This is what it means to be sifted! This is what it means to have a circumcised heart! Having nothing left of the old corrupt flesh, cut off and separated. Completely being made new, into a new creation! The old has gone, behold, the new has come! All that is left is Christ within us, transforming us into the many sons and daughters of God! This brings the kingdom of heaven to earth! His will done on earth, as in heaven! Believe unto Jesus. Have faith. Seek him with a pure heart. Follow His leading, and He will go forward, leading the way with us as His army to destroy the evil powers and principalities that hold you and me and this world in bondage! He will do a GREAT work in you, those who believe and act! This has been the gospel of Jesus Christ, the New Covenant all along, hidden within the story of the ark! --- "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." -Matt. 28:19-20 "This gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." -Matt. 24:14

Don't forget the message of redemption by shed blood. This rite was repeated countless times in the Old Testament sacrifices. The Ark was central to those object lessons and the central figure being testified to through it all was the coming Messiah (and His redemptive work). That was all fulfilled in His sacrifice of Himself on the cross of Calvary as a payment for the sins of the world. Each of us must face our fallen sinful condition and history and turn in faith to the resurrected Saviour to receive eternal life.
