I have a few in my backyard that I feed and one in particular meows nonstop when leaving my house or when he senses his siblings nearby. He’s the only exception tho so I guess you could say it’s rare for cats to meow at each other but not impossible.

I follow a Mr Kitters (or something like that) and he puts cameras on his cats when he lets them outside. At least one appears to meow a lot to the other cats though it seems it’s only to find them or find him. That’s all it’s used for but it most certainly is a meow.
