Well...idk as someone who is going to PhD and teaching classes I can tell you that a prof should always have a good way of communication. Repeating the same sentence over and over implies the severe lack of language and communication skills and should therefore be resolved. This was genuinely uselful feedback for a teacher, he should have taken the advice instead ....

Newfield Charlotte It’s not the same sentence it’s the same transition. Also, there’s not much to replace it with except maybe conversely, contrarily, to paraphrase, to put it simply, etc but rly the two transitions r enough to convey his message. What matters more is the content of the course.

I would love to have tea with a nice professor after class. How do they not know what tea is??? 😂

I like a cup of tea.
These professors are actually funny as fuck in this video. On the other hand, the probably don't act the same way in class.
Professor Picard's last response was the best. :P
"You remind me of a muppet" His face had mr dying! 🤣
0:55 Student has a point. Most professors are research junkies have little to no real-world experience in the industry. Theory and practicality are two completely different things.

yeah but the things they teached you have been learned by people who actually have had experience, you really think in harvard they gon teach you stuff that that dosen't work in reality, engineers and programmers don't graduate and get paid a shit ton of money because they've been taught some theory of how stuff works.

I think he was leaning into the joke
Most of my professors at Wharton were data crunchers and lacked real-life experience working in the corporate world.
1:18 Dude that was hilarious
Please! I had to turn my face away from the screen when the muppet was referenced 💀
I was waiting for someone to say "Professor Sinkinson, more like Professor STINKinson." Edit: This is just a joke, I'm sure he is a nice guy!

I always suspected that at least some Wharton students were weenies, and now there's proof. Back when, such complaints were aired only to friends at Smoke's or Doc Watson's. (C-'78)

@@BobBlarneystone It's the highest military award for bravery in the face of the enemy. That somewhat overstates the stress of facing a class of students.

I thought my one bad review was bad..
I am so sorry for the professors .. Everyone talks bad about people some times and you can’t like everyone, but why would you publish that on the internet? ...
the last time i had a professor with real world experience in the field didnt actually know how to teach anything. if you want experience join a co-op.
0:56 I don't know if that is true, but I do agree with that comment if it is.
Spoiled rich kids criticizing others? No. Never.
Watch people die inside...
not gonna lie there are some terrible teachers, I had the worst comm teacher last semester, he was always angry at everyone, and graded hard on purpose. I think he wanted everyone to fail his class.
Professors have no sense of themselves. They just need an audience. I should know. I am married to one. He won't retire either because I have heard all of his stories over the 22+ years that we have been together. He needs a fresh audience every semester.

@@KimberlyLetsGo Lacking a sense of self and always needing to be the center of attention is a hallmark of narcissistic personality disorder - which is pernicious and pervasive across the lifespan and affects all other character traits. Maybe you meant to write that your husband *derives* a sense of self and purpose from his work and enjoys his *students* rather than “needs an audience”?

Why does professor MacDuffie sound EXACTLY like Ben Shapiro
something is wrong with these students. I didn't even know wharton was for mbas but the rich stuck up attitude of the students exposed it for what it really is
Goodness these people are stuck up
why the fuck is everyone here so hot?
Remember, the Wharton school admitted Donald Trump, who can barely read: so the bar for becoming a student there must be fairly low.
0:55 Ben Shapiro?
in teaching, your intelligence play only 20-30% role. if you want to be a great teacher; embrace your students, love them, motivate them, crack some jokes with them and allow them to feel free and comfortable with you.. by being strict, we are not going to achieve anything in the class..
@user09832

If they are strict they might learn a thing or two, being friends with them will do nothing

Face facts. All these poor teacher reviews at these high-priced colleges/universities proves that college has become a joke in America.
Sorry, but the biggest joke is paying all that money for a stupid MBA.
