It will definitely fit in the CyberTruck vault. Looks like it would fit in the Model Y with back seats down. Also, you could lash it to the roof using the 2 cross-beam roof rack, with the three tires forming a stable tripod on the glass. By arranging 2 in a '69' configuration, you could get 2 on the roof of any Tesla, except the Model X.

Both true... It wouldn't it be extra handy if you could transport it like a traditional bike? Surely there is a way to make the leaning mechanics also do folding so to accommodate?

Nice! Dont know if you read the comments, but definitely a backrest and higher BB/pedals are needed, especially if a passenger seat is going to be added. Also, a detachable fairing and roof for weather protection is really useful for people who want to use it for commuting/town use besides the fun use on the weekend on dirt (cf. Drymer from Sinner bikes in Holland).

@@beachbum200009 I think they're really on to a terrific form factor - just hope their price point is reasonable. I looked at the Catrike 559 at $2.5K but sits too low. If their base model comes in at $2-2.5K they can take over the trike market. The biggest problems with current trikes is they sit low, POOR VISIBILITY and long chain drives that need constant cleaning. Again, hope they get to mass market with a "reasonable price point or they will be destined for a neat but niche future.

@Scott Sexton I recently got my eldest daughter an e bike to go back n forth for her first job instead of a more expensive car. Although it does have an auto pedal assistance feature when you pedal, like is implied in this new FUV 3 wheeler, the simplicity of also having 1 throttle on one of the handlebars and just feeling the instant and continually delivered power and the intensity control of the response was just more "enjoyable" in our opinions. It was as simple as a flick of your right wrist. I do understand that adding a simple manual control like that would increase complexity and the overall cost though, but it's my honest opinion. People like to feel like they have a good amount of control. Of course, if FUV never sets the precedent, I'm sure most people won't be bothered in the end by it like me.

E-bike rules state the systems can only assist to 25km/h (EU) or 20mph (USA), with 250W and 500W power limits, respectively. Actually, that's interesting - if I have an e-bike, I can pedal it as fast as I want to but the motor is speed-limited. Will this one simply refuse to go faster once I reach "legal" speed because it's entirely electric? It's nice to keep up with traffic at 50-60km/h when I'm rolling down a gradual slope...

I wonder if you'd consider Disabled Customers in one of your future updates please? As in, A Handcycle with of course the lean to steer. I do very much like the concept of still actually pedalling instead of some Bike where one appears to be a Cartoon Character pedalling as if one's life depended on it. I am desperate to get out of my car and this would allow me to do just that but at the same time, afford me the opportunity of getting some much needed exercise at the same time. I much prefer the option though, of having the two wheels at the rear instead - a little like the GLEAM Etrike - Also a Double Seat which would allow for a 'seat belt' and make for a much more comfortable ride. Thank you for even taking time to read this. Warmly Aindre

Hmm... My road-going mountain-bike cost £95 (ninety-five, brand new from Halfords) over 15 years ago. It costs virtually nothing to own and run, although I've had a couple of new tyres. I've smothered it in a mass of DIY racks and panniers, turning it into a bit of a cargo mule; it weighs 55 lbs unladen, and can carry 50 lbs of groceries. For the past decade (since selling my car) I've ridden it 70 miles a week, every week. I'm in the grey, wet, gloomy, windy, hilly north of England; the weather's awful, the roads are ghastly, the traffic's murder, and I hate, hate, hate cycling. The only positives are the negligible cost and the fact that it keeps my backside in trim. I can't afford to use public transport, nor can I afford an EV of any kind. Cars, e-bikes, e-trikes, e-scooters... One wheel, two wheels, three wheels or four, they're all stupidly expensive, complex, sophisticated whizzy techie toys for bored and trendy rich people. The 'Apple, Dyson, Tesla' demographic. I'm not sure this trike is going to change transport for the masses any more than that ludicrous 'Segway' thing did. The world needs a small, cheap, weather-proof electric vehicle. Cheap?Around £300 [three hundred]. Maybe the Chinese will produce something. Perhaps they already do, but it'll never make it onto British roads without a mysterious 6,750% price increase. For now, I'll just have to stick to pedalling my trusty, rusty old mule. ☹️

Much better traction and safety. No chain, no oil. Three in hub motors bringing more power and traction. Three wheels allows much better balancing without risk of sliding out or falling over. Changing a flat is much easier since you don't have to take the whole wheel off. You can replace your workout stationary bike with this and charge it up by using it like that. It will be able to carry a second person with the coming seating option and you'll be able to have lots of other add-ons and be able to carry much more than you can on a normal bike.
