@@indiag89 it’s less weird for teens to do it on their own, as opposed to an adult director instructing a minor to. that’s why c**ies has such a horrible rep, because adults made actual children do questionable things in front of a camera.

I know it's a funny/strange scene, but I can't help but love when everyone gets into it and sings Jingle Bell Rock together as well as the math teacher playing along. Just makes me really happy.

I told myself I buy it either way, if it's a pinch-hitter singer sounding like you'd expect Lindsay's speaking voice to sound singing. And/or it has me believing she can sing and isn't autotuned, because there is that tiny bit of expected minor imperfection, which gives it authenticity to sounding live. Every year around Christmas time, I am always reminded of this movie the most. One of the funniest movie scenes in history, especially the reaction of Cady's dad on the slap 🤣🤣🤣

I totally think Regina legitimately liked Cady at this point. She kind of stood up for her when Gretchen insisted that the mathletes guy had a crush on her; hence the "stop trying to make fetch happen" line

Which is the whole reason why Regina took Aaron back, to assert her dominance over Cady. But since Gretchen implied that Cady has moved on, Regina feels that she took Aaron back for no reason.

One time in choir, it was two days before winter break, for the whole class period we sang Christmas carols and this was one of them. Whoever picked the song we sang would come to the front of the class and they'd conduct and dance to the song and this girl in choir Logan came up and asked to do this song, then my friend Anlly yelled out, "Logan, do the Mean Girls dance!" and they both stood up and started doing the dance and we all laughed and clapped, some even joined in (and yes, I was one of them) I love this movie! It's so fetch!

love how Lindsay Lohan's character just picked things up after the radio hit dude in the face, it was very smooth. also, Regina's mom has dance mom energy, which I absolutely support, she's a presence for sure.

my 2 older brothers and my 2 older cousins (aged 19 to 22 and all boys) performed this and it was absolutely amazing😭

Gretchen wasn't... NOT mean. She had some malice, she was nosy and a gossip, but i think she only acted on it so much because Regina fed into it. She may have even planted that behavior in her. Like with Cady. Cady was nice and genuine until Regina's influence made her a mean girl. Janis was mean in her own way, too, even if it was warrented. All of them were mean at some point, the difference is Regina was ALWAYS mean, and caused all the drama, until the end. Karen tho? An absolute doll tho, my girl did no- 👏🏼 -thing 👏🏼 wrong 👏🏼. She was just here to look pretty, fail all her classes, and have a good time. Loved Karen
