As an autistic girl who was bullied for 4 years straight because of the way she was, this made my heart do a back flip. I wish all people knew that autism is not a label or anything, sometimes it just means you need a little more help than other and your behavior is a little different, it doesn't mean your bad at everything. It took me years to realize that.

I am not officially diagnosed for autism but I know I definitely am since I have many traits of it and did a lot of research on it which I am gathering for when I can get an official diagnosis. I may not have been bullied for it but my family made it a lot harder for me with not getting me diagnosed as a child, I had many overstimulated breakdowns even as a teenager which my family thought was just tantrums I guess. I didn't know much about it then and only two years ago started collecting research about autism and about what triggers an overstimulated breakdown for me and what my boundaries are. Being undiagnosed is not easy, you feel not valid at all but you worry you still get judged, either you're faking it to or they make fun of you for being different. I am not listened to about the foods I can or can't eat, I am not always prewarned if something comes up which gives me anxiety because then the plan I made for the day is changed and I don't know what to prepare myself for then. The things I want is to get a diagnosis, feel valid and to not feel alone but where I am a diagnosis is expensive so I am trying to figure out where is the best place to get one, I live in Germany by the way. I won't tell my family about the diagnosis when I get it even if it is the family. Both my mum's brothers have it, one severe and the other not so much but they treat them different and I don't want them to treat me differently because of my diagnosis. I worry I will be seen as something less than them then and that is the last thing I want. It isn't easy for me to be open about it and I still am learning to accept it instead of wishing to be normal because well I am who I am and I shouldn't have to change that just because people aren't able to do research. I am not sure how many undiagnosed autistics are here but I just want to say that you are not alone and it isn't easy at first to accept, it is a lot to take but you will be ok with it eventually and learn to be your true self. I hope one day I can learn that too completely.

He gets top marks in our class and i get quite good. Im also top set English, autism makes it so I struggle with certain noises and textures but again, does not restrict me Lots of people hate and tease me because im a bit "different" and i hate when people use disabilitys as an insult. We had someone with autism in our high school. He had an almost photographic memory and can't forget a thing. We teased him once to remember our birthdays which we said once months ago and he remembered them all correctly. damn right shocking it was.

this video is a great example of how flawed some of Dhar Mann's videos can be lol. even if she wasn't necessarily good at anything, it doesn't mean she should be treated horribly. what if she wasn't good at math? or gave good advice? would she be undeserving of love then?? the point is there but it's like..off to the side 💀

Thanks for the encouragement I appreciate it really much I am on the spectrum somewhere I just have anxiety and sensitivity to things but I’m varsity on the quiz bowl team and make good grades if I try and remember to turn it in I’m sorry for editing this but also I got diagnosed June of this year (2023) so I just got answers to my behavioral issues but I knew that I was on the spectrum and told my doctor that I might be on I t she said that I most likely wasn’t on the spectrum and later in another appointment she told me I was getting a psych evaluation before this all transpired I also knew that I had adhd before being diagnosed but no one listened to me when I said these
