In my experience bigger tanks are easier to take care of if you have the right equipment and don't overstock the fish

The white fish should be named "Swim Shady" instead of Slim Shady!!

I named my female globetta Fisk, which means fish in swedish because she looks like a swedish fish. I named my male globetta poisson, which is fish in French because it sounds like poison and he glows bright yellow. Ultimately I named both fish, fish LOL

I agree. I feel like this one was extra special... I thought it was pretty cool that we were able to Hangout and even go on a road trip... So many updates... I loved seeing all the fish.. especially the bettas!❤️

We bought a Bearded Dragon, and his amputee brother, (a roomie had bitten off his leg when they were younger). No one will ever forget "Tom, Tripod Tom". Yes, he was a reptilian James Bond. Later we got a younger beardie. Named him Bart. "I'm Bartman." (had the mask&cape!) There are many more! Stan Lee & Spike(brain damaged after an attack)- both roosters. "Errol"- the screech owl that keeps flying into my bedroom window & trying to get our Parakeet family!

All respect to you with the major tank moves. I just had to emergency transfer all of my tropical fish to a new tank because of a leak. Unfortunately I had to downsize from 55 gallons to 50 gallons due to the same issue you had upon arrival to the shop. I did it by myself and was exhausted!! All fish seemed to adjust well except one molly that kept jumping out and had the shimmies for a few days.

That white betta is pretty awesome! I picked up a trio of white guppies and the store said they dont go fast. Yes I find them adorable so I cant wait to see if I get more

Pristine tanks aren't as important as healthy happy fish. The lushness probably feels like a vacation for them.

I use a Hyger for my 40 Gallon. No problems and has been great for over 7 months! Wish ya luck with them. Love your vids and all the information you have to give away. Keep up the great work. Will continue watch and learn. Thank you guys!

Hi I really love the way you & Lisa explain things as I’m new to the hobby and you’ve taught me so much I love betta fish & am just starting my 3rd aquarium 2 of my tanks are 60cm & 80cm in length & meant for small turtles but I am using them for small fish and with sand & loads of live plants they look great & the bettas love them. I was thinking of having 3/4 females in the 80cm as a small Sorority what do you think thanks Tony 🇬🇧

I love my fish first thing I check when I get up in the morning, when I come in from work, before I go to bed. BUT if I had that many tanks I don't think I could face getting up in the morning.

Curious to see how you cover the tubs to keep the fish in, especially the arowanas. You might want to check out the vinyl poultry netting at Home Depot. I've used it to build floating islands for the fish pond.

You could put a divider in one of the betta tanks and put the betta in there temporarily. It's sad to see him in a little box.

Right now, while raising a bunch of corydoras fry, I have four tanks going and that is plenty of work for a part-time hobby. I see all of these tanks and I'm wondering how someone has so much time to maintain so many tanks.

Iv just done some videos showing my issue... Its natural if you are fresh tank cycling. Get some amano shrimps and nerite helped me a lot. DO NOT USE ANY OVER COUNTER CHEMICALS.... EVER.

I just got a few betas, you have 1 per tank. I have an empty 36 can I put multiple in the tank?

Ron Given I wouldn’t recommend that. I wouldn’t recommend six in a 36 either. Do some research on sorority tanks before setting one up. They usually work for a few months then everyone dies.

Question: what inspired you to get arowanas again after the incident where the one you had a while ago jumped out of the tank? Just curious. Love your channel

Wow, you guys have a lot going on. I love the blue screen setup, the puppies, all the beautiful fish great variety and Bubbles (feels. I actually keep my hillstream tank near a window so I get plenty of algae. Hope you get the arowana situation works out and the sevrem heals. I love Lisa's betta wall is awesome. Moving aquariums can be such a challenge, lots of logistics. I don't comment often but I do watch your videos. Hope you guys are doing well. That vehicle near the end?

Do you remember that comment I put up on your last video about bettas? I said that people are COMPLETELY ignoring the saying "1 gallon of water per 1 inch of fish". I think you should mention that in a video. Maybe people will realize that those 1 quart containers are too small! Poor bettas.

Random Videos YT I’ve had marine for 5 years now and enjoy it much more than freshwater... it’s just as easy to maintain and I’m only using canister... no sump or skimmer

I know it’s costly but what if you get a another silver arrow so that the “aggressive arrow” has more that one target. Plus you’ll get to maybe keep all the arrows.

The problem with the stock tanks is you cant observe them very welk

I got a great laugh- my daughter was doing a writing project on her tablet, she thought you said "runny nose tetras"! She's not familiar with most fish, but I'm working on that!

I have a daily beat down with 20+ African tanks. Good example I just added 7 ob peas from a growout to my established ob tank with 4 fish and they have just pinned all 7 in the corner and they are maybe 1/2" in size difference it's nuts

Where'd you get those stands for all those 10 gallons?

Speaking of dirty. I am getting hair algae on my jungle val, water tests good. Maybe not enough ferts. Anyway I pulled up some algae and found baby xray tetra about 10. Now I dont want to disturb them or give the parents the opportunity to feed on them. What should I do? Clean the tank? Just do water changes? This tank is pretty heavily planted. Add ferts and hope the plants slowly take over and out compete the algae?

i had hair algae in my tank aswell. Hair algae comes from poor water conditions and overstocking. I later got some corydoras and they dig out all of the algae and then you can just pick it out. You can also just try to get a foek and take it out. Hair algae is actually an bacteria

@@franktra1 i just did daily water changes, reduced the light and it broke up. I think somethins up with my well, because it keeps coming back. I will be moving soon and the new place has spring water.
