No, their parents sign a very stringent contract. Stringent by the fact the entire set up was 100% child friendly. The bbc provide everything the children need within the UKs child employment laws. they only work 45 minutes then a few hours rest, another 45 minutes filming then a private education class. Plus the bbc are not going to risk being slurred for the none payment of its actors. I suspect with the bbc being so generous financially towards its staff, this will be the exact opposite of being ripped off.

if it shows again, under the thumbnail on the right side there are three dots (if you move your cursor there) and you can tell youtube you don't want to see this again or to stop recommending the channel. Unfortunately when you commented, the algorithm is now going to think you are actually interested and would quite probably recommend you these videos more, at least for a while.
