Sometimes if it's really, really off, it will pause the game automatically to recalibrate. Usually at the worst possible time.

A combination of a bad sensor bar, wii remote, and a rigged game is the key to a video of straight screaming.

Yeah poof always complains about the “game” even though he could just blame it on his own skill, quite frankly I’ve never seen someone so bad at Mario kart wii. Nevertheless, he definitely blocked pretty well cuz most of the times he got hit were due to his reaction time being a little bit on the slow side not his inability to block.

I don’t know if this might fix the problem but in the Wii system settings there is a place to change whether or not the sensor bar is at the top or bottom of the tv. A common problem I used to have when I had to aim my wiimote super high is because my sensor bar was set to beneath tv when I had it set on top

ik the main problem was sensor bar, but heres some showdown tips When against a purple or red armor, wait to be surrounded, then wait for a horizontal block to hit as many opponents at once as possible when in a block battle with another mii, take it slow and watch their sword and where it is before swinging Black armors and some copper armors are "aggressive" having a skill ai near Matt's ai in duel a harder thing to pull off is a block hit, if you swing down and hold block just as your mii thrusts forward, if the target is using a horizontal block and is not in stun, it will ignore the block Hitting miis into eachother will do damage to the mii hit with another miis body pause when running with no opponents to calibrate when an enemy isnt blocking while stunned, get as many hits in as possible Oh and a funny and sometimes helpful glitch, If you swing to the beat ins running section, your target might just stop or back up, keep swinging to the beat as all other miis who arent targets will come, keep swinging to the beat to hit them, since they arent ur target, they wont hit back and their blocks are ignored, this strategy is risky tho Hope this helps

The wiimote doesn’t necessarily target the sensor bar. It goes for any source of infrared light, so if you have candles etc. it can detect those.

Pro tip: if you swing extra wide when facing a character, often you can hit or knockout people you aren't even facing and they don't block you.

Imagine if Poof is actually really chill irl playing hard games and him freaking out and breaking wii remotes is all just a stunt

If you have issues with the Wii remote going off centre it's probably because you have a window nearby or some other IR(heat) source.if so, in the game select screen, go to settings>sensor bar assist>disable.

This is mostly true. The fact of the matter is, in order to play a game without a sensor bar there’s a few other bits of criteria that need to be met. However, wii sports resort is one of the few games that explicitly goes off of wii motion plus meaning game wise the sensor bar is entirely obsolete lmao.

The sensor bar doesn't sense anything. It just has two infrared lights that the Wii remote senses to know where it is. What he really needs to do is calibrate his Wii motion plus correctly instead of pointing it at the ceiling when it tells him to point at the TV.

@@slapshotjack9806 yes but wii sports resort was made to show off the wii motion plus so it barely uses the sensor, I believe it only uses it for the menu. But I do know that for the sword fighting it uses the wii motion plus which is bugging out because he isn’t calibrating it correctly

Poof, when you’re being swarmed by a bunch of Miis, just do one big swoop across the legs. Although it doesn’t fully hurt them, they’ll already be at one heart when you are attacking them. Also, you’re being swarmed so easily because you wait for the AI to stop parrying. Just find a proper opening in their parry and you’ll take ‘‘em out much faster. GL on your next Swordplay video! Can’t wait to see it :)

Almost every day at around 5:30 AM my husband has to get up to go to work. I've been watching a Poofesure video every day at 5 AM to make sure that he doesn't fall back to sleep. For my own sake I've only been watching them with 5% volume but the screaming is still enough to wake him up.
