Me vs Me (overcome sin) | short film
A short film based on Romans 7:15 and Romans 8:1-2. From personal experience and current battles of overcoming sin. Those periods of time and cycles where we seemingly feel stuck in the sin nature of our flesh. Through God and his love, through the sacrifice of his son Jesus Christ, we are forgiven. We are strengthened to overcome our flesh. God forgives us all, and we are made new in him.
A biblical interpretation based on the battles I face. I pray this reaches anyone who may need it. You're not alone in the challenges you face. You can overcome all. In Jesus name.

"I don't really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don't do it. Instead, I do what I hate."
Romans 8:1-2 (NLT)
"So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death."

Jesus sets us free from sin, there is no struggle, Paul was speaking about under the law in Romans 7, he mentions that quite a few times

I'm not entirely sure his reasoning why, but if it helps, I usually read from the Amplified or New Living Translation because its easier to comprehend. But I do know that the text deviates some at times from NKJV/KJV, so for a more accurate translation those would be better.

From someone who's battling his own sins and struggles it was no mistake that God showed this to me. And as someone who's on his way to be a filmmaker I got inspired by this story alone. I did a narrative short film for a school project and I feel like stories like these that focus on real life battles need to be told need to be heard. This was great for a 2 min film.

The Bible says in Revelation 18:23 that the entire world is deceived by Babylonian sorcery. Look into the origins of holidays like 🎄 🎅 🎃 🐰. These are pagan holidays that serve other gods which God hates. Romans 1:22-27 says that serving false gods with these holidays is the reason why we're living in Sodom and Gomorrah right now. If you do not repent from these holidays you will be deemed an idolater on judgement day, so if you don't want to burn in everlasting fire then you need to repent from this wickedness that Satan has deceived you into doing. Then go pick up the Bible and start reading it from Genesis to Revelation, because you will be destroyed for rejecting God's knowledge. Did you know that you're supposed to be keeping the Saturday Sabbath? Read Exodus 31:16-17. That commandment is forever, meaning you're still supposed to keep it today. Did you know that you're not supposed to be eating pork? Go read Isaiah 66:15-17. God will consume unclean eaters with fire in the tribulation. Did you know that the Bible explicitly forbids putting up a Christmas tree? Read Jeremiah 10:1-5. Do you wanna know why the government is so terrible? It's because God is using it to punish his wicked, covenant-breaking people. Read Leviticus 26. This punishment was prophesied thousands of years ago. Read Romans 13. You speaking evil against the government is helping nothing. If you actually want to be protected then start obeying the holy covenant - the ten commandments. You do not have a lot of time left. Pride goes before destruction and we are at delusional levels of it. Judgement is coming to the house of God first so you better be prepared before tribulation comes to a stiffnecked people who hate God's commandments and reject his word. Because you are not getting raptured if you're ignoring everything God is telling you. If you don't want to be told depart from me I never knew you then you better start getting to work.
I believe that God has led me to this video. I have failed with the sins of lust and profanity when I am trying to be a man of God. I can relate to this video because it shows a visualization on what it is like to sin. At the end of the day it is me vs me and I need to keep my faith in God and turn to Him in all situations.

I am only turning 22 years old this year and I was already battling a 7 year long weed and cigarette addiction. I don't know who I was before I started this thing. All I know now is I am socially isolated, introverted and ALL my friends are just people I shared the addiction with, people I dont wish to be any other day... But I know my God, I talk to Him everyday and He talks to me back. I know i am destined for greatness, He assures. It is time I take the necessary steps forward. For the first time in 7 years, almost 8, I am 5 weeks clean of any smoke, willingly. Smoking this thing daily as a teen really caused a lot of damage in my inner self, my personality and my social life, I didnt even realize. I WILL restructure my personality, I WILL make new habits, I WILL focus more on my degree, I WILL change through HIM. I have never believed in myself like I do now because I am now sure He loves me.

Whenever I struggle with temptation, I picture Jesus suffering right next to me with me as he did on earth. I don’t know why, it really helps me out. Just like Jesus suffered with temptations and suffered with the temptation to give in to his sin, we do as well.

My main issue is p*rn addiction, I fight it everyday. The only reason I give in is to cope with the pain I feel and meaninglessness in my life which just hurts me in the long run. Im not really religious but, I feel God is telling me to stop in order to move forward. And so I will, I’m tired of letting me hurt me. Great vid👍

God bless you! I love this, I remember struggling a lot with sin and not repenting and just doing things wrong against God. But I gave my life to God and choose to live life for him! I love God cause he has changed my life and turned my life around! I now choose to do things right and live life right! God is amazing!
