Would love for you to try some Danish brands of fishing lures - Such as Fidusen + Fidusen Slim, which are primarely for UL fishing rods, but knowing you have that creek close to your house, it would seem perfect to try, as it is lures the fish have never seen before. Wouldn't mind sending you some your way, incase you are interesting in trying out new types. (Beware, requires insanely slow retrieval)

Only the DC my non DC slx will never do that my old 90's reels neither
