I found this lass's music on You Tube a couple of days ago. 1979, 13 years old and getting into The Beatles. 39 years later and i hear the best version of Imagine by a female singer. I've always considered this song as positive and uplifting, though if i'm brutally honest sometimes a tad melancholic with John Lennon singing (sacrilege, i know). Amy Slattery sings it and it sounds even brighter to my ears. You make a good duet. Champion.
