Some really pretty fabrics. I’m excited to see what you make. I especially want to see the white embroidery shirt you are gonna make! Have a great week. Jealous of all your sewing friends. I don’t know anyone else that sews apparel. And in the states we do not have really big or small fabric shops like those. I only have JoAnn’s and Hobby Lobby and I live in a big suburb.

Glad you enjoyed your trip. Love the navy and pink. Would make great wide leg culottes or trousers. If you’re not wearing it next to your face you might feel more comfortable with it. Happy sewing. 😊💖x

Looks like a fab weekend and so much fun. Buying fabric with others is a real buzz 🐝! I particularly loved your green Mc calls dress and you said you fancied another one - why not use that lovely blue fabric for that? Ie the last one you showed. Alternatively another New Look jumpsuit (which you showed a month or two ago? Wow that teal/blue satin was gorgeous! I also really liked the zany colourful knit fabric - can’t go wrong with a Stasia - or maybe one of the new wrap dresses? I’ll enjoy seeing your sparkly dress in due course. Thanks for sharing xx ❤

I've loved watching this video Angela, it got me through a pile of ironing! What a lovely few days you've had and what a beautiful part of the UK you live in. It was lovely to see Dartmouth again - we used to visit there when on holiday in Devon and have stayed in Dartmouth itself, so it brought back some lovely memories. It’s so lovely watching your video and seeing such an amazing sewing weekend you’ve had with friends! Gorgeous fabric choices, Angela! I have similar tastes in colors. I really like the pink and navy fabric! Since it has a bit of an abstract or geometric design in it, so perhaps a pattern from Maison Fauve, as I think the French style would suit it well. If you are looking for an alternative to the McCalls mens shirt pattern, I have made Simplicity 9758 for my father and he loved the fit and relaxed camp collar style. I can’t wait to see your fabrics get made up! Happy sewing! 🌺

Fantastic upbeat video as always, Angela. Love seeing all your makes, fabric purchases and your weekend meet up of sewing friends. I follow most if not all of them on uTube. It’s wonderful to see how like minded women can get together, share their hobbies /interests socialize and ‘hold each other up’ - I love it! Also, that’s a gorgeous fabric that you got for your daughter’s boyfriend - I’d like to suggest that he’s perhaps studying to be a ‘Rocket Scientist’ as it covers a multitude 😊

Thanks for sharing your fabric/sewing friends trip. Oh, all of the fabrics are lovely, especially the white embroidered fabric. A classic white shirt is my favourite. I see the space fabric with black trousers and a black tie, classy and fun at the same time.

What a fab time you have had. You made me smile from start to finish. You can absolutely tell that you had a great time with your sewing friends. Love all of the fabrics that you bought and look forward to seeing your makes. I’ve recently made the sommar cami, which I love but needs tweaking. My favourite makes at the moment are the baillee shorts by tessuti fabrics and the belle skirt by made label. Can’t wait to see your next makes video. Xx

p.s. Angela, I almost forgot. The fabric you were unsure about (the deep blue with pink abstract triangles), if my opinion counts, is fabulous for you. When you held it up I felt it really complemented your face. A jumpsuit immediately camp to mind for me. Maybe with an interesting dark blue belt?

Lovely vlog and great fabric you did make me laugh, I live in Birmingham so love Barry’s and the market but wonder what people will make of the fish market, surely they just sell fish but no, they don’t. It is also a lovely fishy smell in there but with great bargains. Even though I don’t need fabric I have got a yen to go and visit soon 😊. Re that blue and pink fabric that you are not sure of, what about some drapy trousers with plain tops, think that will be nice. Happy sewing ❤

Love all your fabrics, looks like you had a great weekend, perhaps a pair of wide leg trousers in the fabric you’re unsure of. I’m not keen on the Safiya trousers, I’ve found the Saguaro pants better. I’ve made three pairs of the Derwent trousers after watching Sarah’s videos, I’ve also just purchased the Freya trouser pattern from Tammy handmade, again being influenced by Sarah 😂, I need to stop watching her, but she’s just so stylish
