Pay attention to true obedience in full Truth. Matthew 20: "19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." Jesus didn't say baptize them in my Holy Name, right?

(The Trion God or the Holy Trinity of one and the same essence.) Tri means 3. Trinity is not in the Bible but it's well understood as you've quoted and as Jesus have taught and commanded. May I ask, is the word "Bible" could be found in the Bible? Are you questioning how Jesus have taught and commanded about how Baptism is said in His own very simple words. Baptism in Jesus is fine. Acts 4:12. Jesus was the name given to Mary by the Angel. Not Jesus Christ. Christ means anointed, that is not Jesus' last name. Baptism in Jesus, Jesus Christ, Lord Jesus are all sufficient. Gino Jennings is not error free.

The name that Jesus is referring to in Matthew 28:19 is "Jesus " the Apostle Peter was there in 28:19 and completely understood this that Jesus is the "name" referred to in Matthew 28:19 as evidenced in Acts 2:38 ..be baptized EVERYONE of you in the "name" of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins. In Luke 24:46-47 Jesus also referred to His name preached for the remission of sins which we recieve through baptism in in His name. If you call your father "father" are you referring to him by his name????

@@7439norma The blood Christ shed is not applied to anyones sin who doesn't obey Acts 2:38 Peter plainly said Be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ FOR THE REMISSION of your sins. If we don't obey the Word of God in this our sins will not be remitted and we cannot be saved. When quoting Matthew 28:19 Jesus said the Name (singular) of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. You can trace that name (Jesus)back to all 3 of these titles simply by studying the Bible.

@@mikegintz5256 baptism is as Jesus said and it doesn’t save you only the Blood of Jesus does that and it washes away all sin not baptism. Romans 10:9,10 that if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus , and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead YOU SHALL BE SAVED . For with the HEART man believes unto Righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto Salvation. It says nothing about baptism as part of your salvation. You should be baptized but it is not required for salvation.

Do you not read your bible? Do yourself a favor and read these verses before you continue to shame yourself. Start here Acts 19:1-7. Then here---> Acts 8:14-16.

The Name is more related to the authority in wich we do something, than what name is spoken over you, by the one who baptises. When we do something in the Name of Jesus, we also do that in the Name of the Father and the Holy Gost, besides the Son is Jesus. There is no need for devision over this matter, just like if we should say Jesus or Jeshua it is the same thing. There are lots of things you can divide on and even should, but the Bible does not say you have to go against one or the other in the matter of "the name". This also is used mostly by oneness pentacostals, which is a other Jesus. I also obeyed what is written in Acts 2 and speak in tongues, but i dont think, that everybody who has received the Spirit also speaks in tongues. I can understand the exitement but Paul says: 1 Kor 12,8-11 To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines. 1 Kor 12,28-30 And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? 1 Kor 14,1-5 Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy. For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no-one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit. But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort. Anyone who speaks in a tongue edifies themselves, but the one who prophesies edifies the church. I would like every one of you to speak in tongues, but even more to prophesy. The one who prophesies is greater than the one who speaks in tongues, unless someone interprets, so that the church may be edified.

Do you pray for your food by saying, "in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy Ghost, bless this food" Absolutely not. Therefore, pray, baptize, cast out devils, heal, in JESUS name. Only.

Colossians 3:17.Be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. Acts 2:38.Neither is there salvation in ANY other for there is None other Name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved Acts 4:12.Yes let the Word Speak it is worth being divided over we can't take the Name of Jesus lightly and expect to make heaven our home.

@@mikegintz5256 I dondt take the name of Jesus lightly he is my lord, he is precious and holy to me not like he is to the world. I also understand that there is no other name by wich we are saved and i also baptise in the Name of Jesus and i do what i do for him. Jesus himself did not come in his own name but the Father send him, he also said the Father is greater than i. Like the father send him, he send his disciples, so what they do, they do in his name, there is a certain order in this. Why is it a sin to you, when Jesus himself said that his disciples should baptise in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit? I aswell baptise in Jesus name for the sake of practise, you just have to do it some way but one or the other, both are found in the scripture. The Father or the Holy Spirit are not against Jesus.

@@letthewordspeak7136 How is one a onenss pentecostal for baptizing, praying, casting out devils, healing the sick, in the name of JesusChrist?

If you don't speak in tongues, then you don't have the Holy Ghost.....please study 1 Cor 12-14 where Paul talks about tongues. You may come away w different point of view. What will you say to someone who has sought for years earnestly and never spoke in tongues? Are they destined for hell then?

Absolute nonsense. Modern tongues-speech is non-cognitive non-language utterance. It's a completely self-created phenomenon. People get dunked and know when they come up they need to start saying something, anything, as long as it's not in English or any other real, rational language.

Without God's Spirit, you are NONE of his.

It's sad but this is invalid baptism. As Jesus said in Matthew 28:18-20, " [18] And Jesus coming, spoke to them, saying: All power is given to me in heaven and in earth. [19] Going therefore, teach ye all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. [20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world."

It’s the other way around! You make all New Testament baptisms invalid with your statement. What is the name of Father, Son and Holy Spirit? Behold, it’s one name!! There is only one name given under heaven unto mankind to be saved, and that is: Jesus!!!!

@@an_nie_dyc1386Did Jesus taught baptize them in my Holy Name? The Book of Matthew is in New Testament so please carefully read your Bible. Baptizing this way is the way of false teachers and not according to what Jesus have taught in His own words and have commanded! NIV translation, Matthew 20: "19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." Please correct this simple error and don't disobey Him.. I'm saying this out of charity to point out the whole truth if you're His true follower. Half truth, is an Evil's deception . (

Your roots of beliefs is from a fallen Christian teachings of the 17th century. Investigate and learn the Church Firstfathers and stop endangering your soul and others to Hell.

@@nerfe2011 I’m in a solid baptist church and found out about the baptism in Jesus’ name by only reading my Bible.

I believe Jesus is the only God. But I think you guy are too crazy with your tongues. Everyone's gifts are different and not everyone has tongues. Also tongues looks so fake. Looks like the only miracle you guys can do is the one that is most easily faked. Also seems like no one can interpret them. So what's the point?

Tongues is the evidence of being filled with the spirit. Everyone filled with the spirit can speak in tongues. Acts 2:4 KJV And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. There’s a difference between tongues for personal edification and tongues for interpretation. Read 1 Corinthians. I’d love to do a Bible study with you some time brother.

Baptism does not rement sins. Only christ blood can do that. This is wrong. Another gospel.

You haven't read your bible You must be baptized in the Jesus Christ for the remission of sins There no other way Jesus Christ said Peter did I rather believe what the bible says Then your man made tradition

The thief on cross… No baptism, no good works, He just put all of his faith in Christ and we t to eternity with his saviour that day. Saved by Grace, not by any works. Amen
