I seriously had chills the entire song and that hasn't happened since I saw this on Broadway and Jenn Collela was singing it. And I'm not talking just a chill down my back or on one arm but literally my whole body, even my cheeks, had goosebumps. I cannot wait to see how far you are going to go because I cannot see you being anything less than a household name with a voice like this

I JUST GOT BACK FROM SEEING IT! It was sooooooooooo incredibly good! And it was SUCH an emotional rollercoaster. I cried multiple times (so did my mom and sister). This song was probably one of my favorite parts, but it’s hard to decide because it was just SO AMAZING! I would 100% recommend :D Also, I loved this cover and Mariah’s voice is angelic.

Screw the vocals (which were no less breathtaking than usual, but). The emotional power you put into this cover and the passion you put into such a heavy song and complex character absolutely gave me CHILLS by the end of this song, I was shaking. This show has such an emotional impact to me and to see someone cover it with so much positive, passionate energy has me absolutely floored. Keep shining, love!

Definitely check it out! It's about a ton of planes that have to touch down at a tiny town's small airport after 9/11 and the passengers and generous townsfolk building relationships. A lot of it is from what actually happened in Gander, the town it takes place in, after 9/11.

The siren in the background really worked with the ending of the performance tbh. It gave the atmosphere the song was talking about.
