"Me and Paul Revere" - Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers
Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers entertained an enthusiastic impromptu audience in the courtyard of the Paul Revere House with their recent hit song, "Me and Paul Revere" on Memorial Day, May 28, 2012.
After reading a book about how the "Midnight Ride of Paul Revere" story had become embellished over time, Steve Martin wrote "Me and Paul Revere" to represent the true story of what happened that night ... from the point of view of Paul Revere's horse!
Thanks to host and Executive Director, Nina Zannieri, and all the folks at the Paul Revere House for welcoming the local community to the event.

His grand-dad once lived on the corner of Broad and Pearl streets in New York city. He was in the silver business, competing with Myer Myers. Paul Revere provided all the copper sheathing on the bottom of the US Constitution in the Charlestown naval yard in Boston. I think he charged for the ride too. Happy Fourth of July!
