One of the best ever versions of this song! I've listened to ALOT of them on KZread. I like the pace, cadence and just the voice that is ABF! He fits the character so well, and his voice has matured since the Jimmy Awards and DEH. Can't wait to see him in HSMTMTS

It’s up to interpretation since we don’t necessarily have the context of the song in the musical yet! I personally see it as them becoming friends and something more than that ☺️

I don't think I've ever heard a song with Andrew and was not totally impressed by how precisely he hits the notes! Also is Andrew being type-casted as the awkward person in everything now? He plays it so well! Of course Evan takes the cake with awkwardness, but Linguini and this individual have their moments.

I really am enjoying this song. It came up in a random KZread playlist. I remember being 13, 14, 15 and wondering why I wanted attention from “Mr. Popularity” haha. I wonder about about the line “a life he seems to protect.” What’s the motivation here? Also why have the word connect- on? It’s a really good song. 😊

Hey is there a follow up to this? I tried search "In Pieces the musical" but I cant find any info... was it just an album? Or is it an actual musical play? I would love to know what happens to these characters and see the rest of the story...

you know I wasn't a big fan of Andrew when he was Evan it just felt off to me (my opinion) but man, his voice has grown and I love this song!
