I used to substitute high school classes. For 13 years I taught college courses on electronics and computer repair. Most likely schools in a rural area have bus routes with fewer stops than the ones in the city. When I substituted classes they did not fingerprint but I was recommended by the principal who was a family friend.

I was a substitute bus driver for 2 years. Subbing for a fairly large rural district meant that that it was a full time job. I had one kid tell me that he was giong to bust a cap in my ass the next morning. I explained to him that I went to HS with his parents so it would be like recess for calling them at home. So I called around supper time and talked to the parents and mentioned what he said . I offered to stop over because if he shot me on school property he might get into real trouble. The parents decided that I didnt need to stop over after all. I never had any more trouble with him. The parents knew me as a returning war veteran who had bee shot at in real life. Another pestered the hell out of a Kindergartner for the whole trip. The younger one got off the bus and flipped bith birds and then dropped trou for a perfectly timed moon shot. I laughed . The older kid took offense and promised to make trouble in the future. I stopped the bus in the middle of the gravel road and slowly walked back to where he was. I had a quiet one on one conversation with him. About a month ater I was driving a shuttle bus for hauling groups of students between school centers. On of the town kids got mouthy because what is the driver going to do anyway. I heard several of the route kids tell him that the big guy in the front will actually stop the bus and walk back

If she's having the battery go dead overnight, it might be a parasitic draw on the battery. I had to put a quick disconnect on positive terminal to keep it from going dead.

The projection for wheat prices does not look good, nor does the ag economy in general. Good luck with your year.

The way new vechicles are with all the electronics, etc. I would be hard pressed to buy one. After wrenching for 38 yrs and working on these new vehicles I’ll stick to older ones. Some of these that are say 4-6 years or older the manufacturers don’t support or make replacement electronic part’s anymore and the aftermarket may or may not. The fancy display screens if or when they break or stop functioning-good luck finding or getting them fixed. Some of them can and do upwards or more than say $2000.00, they are not plug & play, they have to be programmed to the vechicle .

In Maryland , if you are tagging historic, no inspection required. At least they give you that much…🫤
