Good video👍is the heli an RC ERA C189 MD500 US Coast Guard version? Looks like the one I have, mine didn't have the flow control sensor, it has good control but does pitch/roll a bit to starboard, something to do with the rotor head being out of phase with the gyro? Either that are the Gyro is just damaged from crashing into the bushes so many times😂 sure a good helicopter though good lookin' too!

Yes that’s the one. Just got new Boom/Tailmotor part today. I’m doing the Andrej Servo Mod first then attempt to rebuild it. 😰

​@@OHHP3712UThanks! I think I'll try that one while I'm replacing the receiver/flight control and some other bits, that dude sure comes up with some good mods! I don't know about my C189, never flew quite right out of the box always drifting, another defective heli from HobbyKing I guess won't buy from them ever again 🤞 I get it flying right!

What’s confusing me is that this model did not come with optical flow. Perhaps some batches did? I have a few of these and none came with optical flow. They did have an optional package but was nothing your came stock with it?

I got the Optional Optical Flow. Now i Unplugged it and flew without. Now during rebuild I removed the Board/Camera. Seemed smoother control without it. Waiting on new Tailmotor. First Boom/Motor was locked up mechanically.

So you basically crashed it by goin into the wall? I have a c189 md500 and it's got over 100 hundred flights on it now and yeah I crashed mine to but just order parts and fix it,very easy to do,it's a fantastic heli.

@@appsstore11 Wind gust caught it from side at garage door opening. Blades struck steel vertical Door Track. Messed up Head. Just got second batch of parts today. Can’t work on it now till week after next. Then I can get back on rebuilding the Head.
