Apa cuma gw doang yg ngerasa setiap ad pertandingan bulutangkis di Istora penontonnya tuh udh kaya pemain ke 12 layaknya sepakbola. Ga kalah seru sama pemain yg lagi main. Dan banyak stadion bagus2 di luar negeri sana tp ga punya penonton dgn euforia sprt fans Indo. It's clearly touched Li's racket. If you say: "Why make such a fuss when you're leading far far away?" I'll say: "Dude, imagine it's 29-29 at the deciding game and it's happening...the umpire said it's out?" Every point is really worth the effort, very important for all players whether they're leading or not. A lesson for any umpires ... I know it's not an easy job but at least they should be more focus.

How very right you are. It's not about how many leads you have or if you are winning. It's about the right way of doing the job of umpiring. These players give their blood ,sweat and tears to win every single game and they work hard for it. If someone's gonna screw up their efforts, even just one point, that's very, very,very unacceptable.

yang mau tau tadi ada drama apaan bisa langsung liat rewind videonya di 41:48 disitu jelas raket Li Jun Hui nyenggol shuttlecock dulu baru keluar. harusnya angka buat Kevin-Markus. tapi saking cepetnya dan wasit kayanya either gengsi atau nggak merhatiin banget video rewindnya dia bilang keluar. nggak apa-apa iklasin satu angka buat China yang penting tetep menang. congrats Kevin Markus Indonesia

When many people said minions was rude looks when the game was over they kept smiling when receiving rewards and medal.. Compare to chinese player they kept talking with each other and did not give a respect to gentlemens who gave them the reward symbols and took photo with them.. for me that was real rude..

MD negara lain mulai mengikuti dan belajar bermain cepat, negara” maju udah pakek sport science buat mempelajari permainan cepat minions jadilah saat ini hampir semua MD cepat dan mampu mengimbangi minions.

Yang unik dari mereka adalah, kalau marah malah makin fokus 👍👍

many haters talked about kevin attitude, but from the accident that the umpire didnt realize the fault by Li jun hui, we knew whose attitude was less.. i thought that if Li jun hui confessed his fault we will respect those chinese player.. but in fact he didnt confessed it.. he might realized that his racket touched the shuttle.. so, we knew whose attitude is better !! proud of Indonesian player !

Li Junhui should have admitted his mistake at first place so the tension won't getting higher. Axelsen did that once (i forget which tour) and he got so many respect.

I think you have to speak up when someone has done injustice on you. Kevin just wanted to point that. In this case, one of the Chinese players was dishonest. Some people are willing to do anything to win even when they know that they are wrong/lying/cheating.This video speaks for it. Kevin just wanted to be treated in fairness. It did not mean he was bad. Please be fair. You know who was lying.

It was not cheating by any rule / regulation in the game but it was not a respectable act. With the score being that far away he could have told the referee that his racket touched the shuttle and be respected but he decided to play some mind games (and still lost).

Most electrifying pair EVER, must be. Many of his shots are considered trick shots but most of them are just the right shot when the opposing player is out of position. That is not a trick shot, it's just a good shot done with flair. The amazing talent Kevin has is to predict BEFORE somebody even moves out of position. That takes an amazing talent

There are always criticisms to the Minions, To be honest even when they are in a huge lead in the second game, every point matters. Coz players strive their best for every point. I think it's fair for them to fight for it

BEST MD PAIR EVER with all of their controversial. Badminton need such player to be more fun and interact much youngster to love this kind of sport. Best shot to end the game.

This is very cool. I like the attitude of Kevin / Gideon in contrary to other opinions who think you should be super polite on court. Things change and we should not be afraid of it. Another example, the Olympic champion Carolina Marin also shows different attitudes we never see before; we can also see the WS players start to be more expressive on court with their scream. It is OK. WS players show some of the best games these days with different kinds of players from different nations, from Akane Yamaguchi to PV Sindhu. Diversity! Isn't this awesome? I actually see Kevin / Gideon just as cool as other sportsman in other sports. Listen to the spectators! Look at their celebration in every point. It is a game full of tense and very tiring. Sportsmen also deserve to express their emotion on court and let their pain release. Now, that's a kind of sport that I want to watch. Hope badminton will be more popular; because it is a beautiful sport that can be played by everybody, including para-athletes!

After the match Li Junhui said that he didn't know if the shuttle hit his racket or not. That's totally bullshit, the shuttle moved so fast but he will felt the shuttle hit his racket. Why you guys didn't say anything about this and choose to slate Minions instead? I think Minions has their own personalities and that's how they expressed themselves on the court.. And nothing is wrong with it.

It doesn’t look like it hit his racket at first, but after that when he put his racket down it seems to have touched the side of his racket. Probably why he didn’t feel like it hit his racket

Don't try to provoke kevin and gideon, especialy kevin. When kevin/gideon play with angry, there more focus, more concentrate, and more deadly. YOu will have no chance.

is it just me or the chinese pair was keep bickering with each other since they start losing? in the other hand the Indonesian pair keep tosing hand and showed supporting gesture even when they lose a lot in the first game

Can some one please enlighten me why everbody is complaining about the behaviour of the indonesian team? I am from europe ( germany ) and find it really difficult to understand what the problem is. Maybe something cultural? In an earlier game the danish coach told his players they should no clench their fists towards the chinese players, is this the same story? Just for my curiosity please some tell whats the point. Besides that I really dig the way Gideon and Sukamuljo play. They are incredibly fast and powerfull, it is a real pleasure to watch. Favourite team!

Roman Empire indonesians are passionate about badminton .its a by far the biggest sport in Se Asia so rivalry is between indo vs malaysia except Philipines where they try to play basketball.

Roman Empire we actually didnt know why ppl complaining bout kevin's behavior, they didnt sonething wrong they just complaining when the chines's racquet touched the shutlecock and the umpire decided was out, as all we know in soprt no need good behavior as long as u didnt cheating a point, play well on court, being sportmanship, fair taht more than enough but in kevin if u dont prroveke him u wil not get itbut viceversa if u give one u will get two. its FAIR if they asked something kevin/gid give it that was made this match more more interesting to watch and never getting borring including how crwod this match with fans.

Their coach even said something that Kevin wouldn't be like that if his opponents didn't do it first. You can see from Dubai SSF Final 2017, it went well without any controversy from both pairs. nothing is bad from Kevin's attitude because Liu/Zhang played well and didn't do any bad gesture to Indonesian pair. It looks Kevin and Yuchen maybe have problem between them in the past as i've seen in some articles #imo hahahah

Gideon and Sukamuljo using "trash talk" to other teams. In Badminton, this kind of attitude is undesirable. I'am a sport guy, so for me "trash talk" is just a thing that I used to intimidate my opponent. It's really just a behaviour that show up in the game.

I watch this match about 5 or more. Its super entertaining 👍

It was a great match!! No doubt that both pair put all their heart and effort into the game. I love watching them play against each other however I think that the game will be more breathtaking if Li juhui would have reduced his error TT. Anyway, look forward to see them on the same court again!

Nothing wrong with the attitude of Kevin & Gideon. It is normal for an athlete to be hype up on the court. The Chinese pairs are almost formidable. Fast, strong smash, strong defence, like giant tree who have quick moving branches with thorn. You need something special to beat them. As for the fans, five stars to them. You shout because you loved your players.

Markus Evan Actually that is so true. I had not watched badminton for more than 15 years, my favorites were always men's doubles but it got boring after they changed the scoring system to rally. But after watching Kevin/Marcus match, here I am binge watching their matches and others too. And always looking forward to the next tournament they take part in.

I think if a match like this continues this will be more interesting and not tired of seeing a sometimes monotonous badminton sometimes it needs to be made as it is more interesting related provocation that is done kevin it is legitimate just because both partners are the same provocation and do not want to lose and once again the pair indonesia mentality shows do not want to lose, it and always this chinese couple lost in the points of critical points china is not mature and easy to lose fokus its a good start for MD Indonesia and I am sure in this year will be more of their title get it

Not wanting to lose is not the same as trying to annoy your opponents on purpose.

I think everyone should stop talking what happened in the past. Now they won the MD and let us focus on the new coming tournament. We love badminton, and just forget about how they behaved in the field. Sport is like that with intensity. it's like Madrid vs Bacar in soccer. Who is still watching in December 2019? Great match...1st game for marcus/kevin was a bit rough, but fire was lit 2nd game and of course bad umpire call fueled them both with each play. Love watching them on fire. Favorite moment though for me to see them was 1:30:35. ♡ Keep fighting minions, love from USA

The whole tension started from 40:45 when the umpire didnt see the fault made by these chinese pairs. No wonder the Indonesians were angry. Glad they won this match.

I think it's a strategy as well. By protesting n calling the tournament ref, it prolonged the game so Kevin & Marcus could rest a little bit to gain some stamina for the 3rd game. Kevin actually sat down, smart lol.
